That night after dinner, in the lounge room, the maid that was accompanying Adrian during the day is reporting the news about the young master deeds during the day.
Ralph is busy tucking Adrian to bed and telling bed time stories. It's the 16th story since the afternoon.
"As expected of my baby boy to be so smart. He said his first word when his not even a year old" Amanda said with assurance.
"Of course, he is our son he should be at least do that much" Malcom added a comment.
The maid let out a sigh toward her master's comments. She understands that it is their first born. Naturally they would dote on him but they did not notice their son abnormality.
Normally, children in Twilight Kingdom learn to read and write at 4 years old, nobles and commoners alike.
The young master's growth is very astonishing. Beating them in the race by a 2 year difference.
Suddenly, there is a polite knock on the door.
"Master, it's Ralph"
"Come in" Malcom replied
Entering the room, Ralph gave a polite bow and report that Adrian is sound asleep.
"Ralph, you communicate a lot with Adrian today, what do you think we should do for him?" Malcom asks his most trusted aide in a friendly tone.
Ralph saw the man in front of him and let out a small smile. He remembered the time when he first came here and serve the late viscount, the teenage boy that is so stubborn for strength to get his father's attention.
He watched the boy grew up into the man he is now, a Count. Surpassing his late father. Base on his experience he already knew the answer.
"Master, based on my experience, I suggest you should do 'anything' for him." Ralph replied like a wise sage.
"Anything?" the couple replied. Amanda is shocked while Malcom is confused.
"I see. Thank you both of you. Please have a rest." Amanda dismissed both of the servants politely.
"Good evening, master/mistress" both of them bow and excused themselves.
"Amanda, do you have a plan?" Malcom asked curiously.
"Like Ralph said, we should give Adrian anything. We should give him anything to help him to be the best mage in the Twilight Kingdom. Here's my plan." Amanda gives a mischievous smile.
Malcom expression become serious when he heard his son have the potential to be the best mage in the kingdom.
After hearing about the plan, Malcom face changes colour like an iguana from pink to white.
Adrian managed to turn 3 years old. He can walk well but he still cannot speak properly because his teeth are not properly grown yet. He got a case of toddler's lisp.
Adrian in the library reading books and taking notes with the accompaniment for Ralph. Malcom put Ralph in charge of recommending books and answering questions from Adrian. Ralph didn't mind this. The library is already his responsibility, as to teaching the young master, is becoming his pride and joy to tutor a prodigy.
"Raaph, ihss dare bookths bout mothstherss?" Adrian smile innocently but inside he is so embarrassed about his lisp. Thinking of burying a hole to hide in.
"Yes, we have lots of books about monsters. I give you early level monsters first." Ralph answers stoically while go get the books. To him he did not find a 3 year old talk like that weird at all. The weird thing is a 3 year old learning monsters biology.
After returning and handing the book over to Adrian, he stands behind him preparing for questions while watching him taking notes.
After 2 hours of watching Adrian taking notes, he was surprised the notes is simple but complete with drawings and hypothesis to ensure victory. Not a single question is asked during the 2 hours of taking notes.
"Young master, it has been 2 hours. Please stop and rest a little. I go get some tea and sweets for you" Ralph snaps Adrian out of his concentration and ask Adrian to stop.
"Oh Yeeth, I want cake pleath and tea not too hot. Thank you Raaph" Adrian smile brightly showing his teeth that is not fully grown while putting the quill in the ink vail and relax his shoulder.
Ralph nodded and left the library.
After Ralph close the door behind him, he let out a long sigh,
"What prodigy? The young master is a monster." Even though he said that, his face is beaming with happiness.
While waiting for tea, Adrian starts to recall all the knowledge and information he had gain and compile it all.
"This world is called Etterra. There are 6 gods overseeing this world, Gabriel, Michael, Raphael, Uriel, Raguel and Sariel."
"Etterra is split into 4 continents, the Freezing North, the Fertile East, the Searing South and the Warring West."
"Where I am right now, the west continent, has 2 Empires and 3 Kingdoms. The Epoch Empire, the largest land and highest human military might and the Amaranthine Empire, the oldest and the only non-human empire."
"Speaking off Epoch Empire I heard their old king died of old age and the crown prince ascended the throne late last year. I should watch out for that new king. There are no rumours about his behaviour at all. The West continent is called the Warring West for a reason."
"Carrying on, the 3 kingdoms are The Holy Dawn Kingdom, The Mysterious Dusk Kingdom and, the kingdom that the Cross Family serve, The Young Twilight Kingdom"
"The gods teach the beings of Etterra how to use mana. There are 8 basic elements and 2 special elements. The basic elements are Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Lightning, Ice, Plant and Smoke followed by Light and Dark as special elements."
"There are other beings apart from humans such as elves, dwarfs, mermaid, centaur, beastfolk and more."
"One can use mana when reach 10 years old. The restriction is imposed because mana is dangerous to being with intelligence that is born with pure flesh and blood. Monsters on the other hand are born form mana to form flesh and blood."
"The Magic Towers helps awaken each person's mana also determine their affinity to the elements. That does not mean they cannot use other elements. Having affinity helps learn and advance faster but not having the affinity towards an element makes learning it feels like climbing a very steep mountain. The higher one is the more difficult to advance."
"Furthermore, all beings can manifest only 1 spirit weapon. A spirit weapon is manifested form an individual greatest and purest desire. So it is advise to form a spirit weapon before adulthood, or it become difficult to manifest a spirit weapon, or it never manifested at all."
"There are many Magic Towers in Etterra. Twilight kingdom was built nearing 3 Magic Towers. Magic Towers remain a mystery until today. Some try to covet it, some try to research it and some try to destroy it but all of them die before it."
"Historians concluded that the Magic Towers are god's relic and no mortal can control it."
After finish compiling everything, a knock on the door is heard. "Just in time" Adrian thought while giving a smirk.
"It's Ralph. I brought tea and snacks" Ralph said while holding a huge tray of three flavours of big sliced cake and warm mild sweet tea with one hand.
"Come in" Adrian said enthusiastically.
"Please enjoy young master"
"Thankth you, Raaph" Adrian starts enjoying the cakes while Ralph pours some tea.
While eating, a thought suddenly pop out from his mind.
"The gods in this world holds the same name as the 7 archangels in religious beliefs in my previous world. Eh… Maybe. I can't remember. I'm not a religious guy anyway. Maybe it's just a coincidence."
