A smile had been gracing my face for the last hour, the sight of Li Yue cuddling her signed copy of our favorite book warming my heart in its entirety, while I idly held onto the other two books that we had been gifted upon arrival, confirming my suspicions that this was all Gao Chen's doing and not coincidence.
There was little doubt in my mind that this was an orchestrated appearance from Li Yue's favorite author - it was her birthday AND the woman just happened to have extra books that she willingly handed over to us after signing, even though her upper Void Realm Cultivation meant that she didn't need to bend to our whims whatsoever?
I wasn't going to accept that it was just all a happy coincidence, but there was no reason to say anything about it to Gao Chen seeing as she did it all for Li Yue, who was utterly in awe with having met the author she revered so much and grinning from ear to ear.
