These months were such a wonder to spend together, and I eventually broke my second decade alive in this world, a milestone that I had completely forgotten was even a thing; past the major celebrations for me, I never really cared for the day I had been born, always forgetting it and leaving it alone.
Now, however, I had not only my birthday to worry about, but also Li Yue's and Gao Chen's, the two earning that honor as they entered their first year and twenty-second respectively.
We did little to celebrate for ours, though we had Mother and my two sisters come visit for Li Yue's, with Mom showing up near the end to see her grandchild before leaving once more, and we all played and talked with Li Yue as she crawled around.
Li Hui Ling, Li Fen, and Mother all made note of my large belly once again, staring at me in surprise as I gave them the rather obvious news that I was pregnant again, surprising them with how I was alright with having another child so quickly after the first.
