Chapter 1 - The Goblin

A certain goblin looked in a store through a glass window in the front. The store itself wasn't that interesting on the outside. It was made of a type of concrete using the shells of different non-sentient monsters. There was also a small wooden sign outside the door with the words Camo Shop wrote in some squiggly version of the language. The inside of the entire place however was completely different.

Each of the walls in the store seemed to have picture frames on the wall with a couple of them have some weird repeated design. Shrugging he decided to enter and see what the shop was about himself.

------------------------------------Pov Change------------------------------------

At first when I had reincarnated in this world I had no idea what to do, in about 3 months however that changed. When I first got to a city and found civilization my system had activated to its first stage but hadn't told me its purpose or things I could do with it. I also had to unlock its features without any clue how. At first I tried killing monsters. That seemed to semi work as I "unlocked" new items in the shop feature that was still locked. So I continued exploring going from city to city until finally I decided that running around without a fully activated system was a bad idea, and so I settled in Lazaro City. Quite an arrogant name I believe but I won't comment on it.

For the second month I saved some money from doing random jobs on top of claiming rewards for the monsters I killed before. I wished I would've known I was going to need some of those shelss and leather materials later but for now I was happy. After that I finally saved up and bought myself a house. It was a happy occasion showing that, yes I was adapting to this world. All I could thank for that ability was my previous father; who was one of the sword masters on earth from the generation I was part of.

When I first came to my house and went inside after buying it. That's when my system finally changed.

"Host now has a shop. Level 0.5 Home shop detected. The host may now develop different camos using previous acquired templates from completed challenges. All challenges for template unlocks must now be accepted on purpose in order to unlock.

Looking down I noticed the 7 templates I had unlocked before with different prices in the store. One price for an item was for me and the other was for the customer. It seemed I could let customers buy from me after I bought it or directly from the system, and after looking a bit more closely I noticed I was currently only allowed 5 personal purchases a day. Personal purchases were made at half the cost of the customer store and I could keep and profit I make. However since my customer price was set then I would only be able to set personal purchases at a max of that price. Still this gave me room to work with involving discounts and other minor things.

Now the only thing I would need to consider would be. How in the world do I encourage people to let me paint their weapons using this camo system when obviously paint would normally ruin the sharpness of a weapon. Maybe I could go after blunt weapon users first. Seeming that it was the most logical decision I could make I took a look at the different templates in the store with the few coins I have in my pocket. With the person buys I was able to make at least one camo purchase and stock it.

The first possibility was an image of a fire snail based creature I had managed to kill quite a few of by tricking them into water after angering them enough. I did however suffer many third degree burns from such things. But it's nothing a potion can't take care of. The System denoted using this camo that interlinked its face across the weapon would grant the weapon the creature's blessing and wrath. And Hermigma snail would instantly be angered when they gaze upon the camo but in return the user of the weapon would be granted +5 fire resistance. However well that was.

The second camo was from a wolf kill. Many of them exist and so this camo was the first I had unlocked. Accordingly as to before the camo was multiple wolf head interlinked. Attracts all wolf based enemies aggro in addition it applies the disrupted leadership effect. This lowers how well wolves work together even when ordered by a alpha.

The third was an image of a blue flower made of petals of ice. A flower I found to love picking and using its petals to keep me cool. This time the camo was a mix of its petals forming a blue color puzzle-like camo. Its effect was one simple thing "Keeps the user 3 degrees cooler inside the armor piece this camo is equipped to." It was a good effect especially for heavily armored warriors in this world. The only issue would be convincing any of them to become flower warriors.

The fourth camo was a skull from the numerous skeletons that seem to roam across the night sky its patterns was the same as the first two and it had the lone effect of drawing skeletons hatred.

The fifth camo was a little different with it being just being the color black. Which while cool only gains the wielder a slight boost to stealth. I guess it was for assassins. But would I dare give out that camo to people who may turn around and stab me in the back.

The sixth camo following in religious fashion was white and gave enhanced attention to the wearer. So I guess it was good for people who wanted to be popular? But if they are ugly wouldn't that just draw attention to that fact?

Finally the seventh camo came to eye, well several eyes. It was named Abyssal Eye. As I looked at it I felt I was losing my mind. Looking away I then looked at the description and immediately turned cold. The effects were soul freezing causing the person who gazes upon the item to freeze in place down to their soul for 5 seconds. It seemed it was a starting camo for me in order to adapt to this world sooner if I had realized I needed to buy a shop.

Now obviously I wasn't going to use that camo at all so I had to make the interesting decision on which one to sell and after some consideration I stuck with the white camo for its simplicity. That way even if people didn't believe in the effects of my items. If I could prove I wouldn't hurt the weapon with my camo then all things would occur slightly more easily.
