Chapter 9 - Inspired Romanov

When I died I was given the option of being reborn I immediately took the chance but was not specific in my request of who to be reborn into.

My request was was to be transmigrated into a European royal family with the power of inspired inventor which would allow me to gain complete control of the nation and allow me to revolutionize the world.

When I awoke in my new body, an entire life of memories emerged Anastasia Nikolaevna or Romanov the youngest daughter of Tsar Nicholas II who had just been executed by the Soviet's along with the rest of the Royal family.

My transmigration had also thankfully healed the gunshot wounds, which allowed me to focus on my power had been nerfed. Now instead of 5 a week I got an initial set of 5 and every month I would be given one additional charge.

Looking around at the bodies of my family, I took a deep shuddering breath and collected myself first I need to get out of this cave, second survive the Russian revolution as they will be after my head,

third I need to go towards the White Russians which would mean heading either towards the West where what would become Ukraine and Belarus are in the midst of a three way battle with the Germans, Czar Loyalists and Soviets.

Or head East to Vladivostok where a contingent of allied troops from Japan, USA and the British should be landing in the coming year.

The safest plan is to head East where I can hopefully with the help of the Allies make a provisional government or help secure the East for myself and let the Soviets destroy themselves in the West.

Nodded to myself that the East held my best chances of survival I said a prayer for my dead family and began to look over my family bodies for any valuable that were missed.

Sadly most of the jewels my sisters had hidden in our dresses had been taken, my fathers rings also had been taken except for the patriarch ring of the Romanov family.

Grabbing the valuables, I crawled my way out of the cave in the middle of the Urals which meant that it was over three thousand miles away from Vladivostok.

My best way of reaching there was via the trans Siberian railway, which would take at least three days of constants train hopping and dodging Soviets till I reach Lake Baikal where I know a Noble loyal to the Czar is where I should be able to get some help.

Crawling out of the cave and into the cold Russian weather I used my first charge and put it into Survival-1, which flooded my mind with information on how to survive the wildness from hunting with homemade bows and identifying wild plants for eating.

Looking around I see the tire tracks that I assume are from the Soviets, I wrap myself in the clothes my dead family wore as even with the blood on them it's better than freezing to death.

Heading down the rough dirt road that headed East along the way I grabbed a long stick and used some of the more torn up cloth to fasten a large rock to the stick for a club, as these woods are filled with dangerous animals that could kill me easily.

—————-

I walked along that road for two days camping at night till I reached some village that probably had about 300 people living in it, I not trusting these people dropped another charge which I put into espionage which gave me enough information on how to avoid detection and how to Identify spies.

Moving along the edges of the village I was able to find some cloths that will actually keep me warm in the coming winter days, scoping out the outer edges of the village I was able to find an abandoned home and scavenged some supplies and knife.

Resting for the rest of the day I then continued my journey this time heading south as I heard some villagers talking about selling some of there goods to Krasnoturyinsk which should have access to some trains or at least steal some truck and drive East.

Reaching Krasnoturyinsk I acted like one of the many homeless orphans that now dotted Russia, here I would hold up in an abandoned building for awhile.

First I scouted out the rail station here to find out when the next train heading East would arrive which I found out that non would arrive for the next month because the Soviets had requisitioned all trains for moving troops to the different fronts.

With the train plan out as I do not have the time and riding that train is an extremely bad idea, so now I need to steal a vehicle or horse. Scouting the city I found a motor pool of sorts that the local militia used for hunting or tracking criminals.

A load of weapons were also stored in some of these vehicles as most of weapons were to be seized by the Soviets when they get here on the train. That I figured out by watching the depot for a couple of days from across the street while pretending to be a beger.

On my 3rd day scoping out the depot I had a plan.

——————

Breaking into the depot with the help of my espionage was extremely easy as most of these guards were just locals who asleep at there posts.

While I could just take the truck and drive off I had to make sure no one suspected anything out of the ordinary, sneaking through the hall till I found the logistics department where I filled out a some forms detailing that a couple of boxes of guns are to be shipped out tonight and back filled some other paper to help justify the order.

Finding the keys is some locker I made sure to load a couple barrels of gas so I don't have to fill it up I then begin my Drive East once again.

——————

For the next two weeks I drove across the Russian wilderness, filling up at the various small gas depots in the middle of the night and avoiding any large settlements till I finally reached Lake Baikal.

I was stopped a couple of miles away from the nobles lands by a group of guards, I had already took of the Soviet outfit I had stolen.

Guards-"STOP, in the name of the Imperial Russian government halt. Put your hands outside of your window and do not move."

I complied and slowly moved my hands out. "I am Tzarina Anastasia Nikolaevna, take me to those in charge here."

The men looked back and forth as no one in their right mind would claim to be a Romanov right now.

Guard-"If that's true then follow us well take you to the city."
