First things first, lets get my [Physical Density Magic Organ] evolved.
[You are able to choose your next advancement for your Weighted Physical Density Magic Organ!]
Cmon! Show me the options already.
As I internally grumble about how lag is still inescapable from despite the fact that I'm a cephalopod in a magic world, the menu appears before me showing options for the evolutionary route I can take with my organ.
Hmmmm, I glance at my options as I contemplate my future magic.
I can still choose to change the overall effect of it, although it will always focus upon manipulating my density.
For example I can choose [External Physical Density Magic Organ] which would allow me to slightly manipulate whatever I touch..?
I guess I would be able to poke stuff and turn it way heavier then? But that could also backfire on me, cause it could make my enemies stronger, or faster if used wrong, so I don't think I want that one.
After looking around for a few minutes, I think I found what is going to be my next magic organ evolutionary option.
YES! I can feel the organ wriggling around in my mantle as it stretches and squeezes itself. This mutation is can increase my limit even further! I'll able to hit harder and squeeze even tighter! What? Additional evolutionary energy? What does that do? ... Am I just gonna grow stronger during my next evolution I guess? ... The system still refuses to answer my questions angering me further. WHATEVER! I don't care! Okay? Seriously! I'm not mad! ... System, can I level up my Heavy Physical Density Magic Organ? Okaaaaay so that means I can only get my mutations up to tier three as a tier two creature. Can I do that for all my other organs? Thinking such, I level up another mutation to access its evolutionary menu. [Barbed Spring Loaded Tentacles have increased to level 4!] [Barbed Spring Loaded Tentacles have increased to level 5!] [You are able to choose your next evolution for your Barbed Spring Loaded Tentacles Mutation!] I had decided to choose my tentacles, and these ones are especially important! I mean, how else can I fight without any limbs? I like where I've gone with them right now, because currently I've not only made them have barbs which I can use to grab and rip prey apart with, but I also made them capable of more instantaneous and explosive movement. However for this evolution, it still gives me the options to completely change up this mutation. I could choose [Fire Spring Tentacles] which again focus upon giving my limbs an increase temperature and elemental affinity towards fire... But I don't want that! [Sickly Tentacles]? Not only does it increase the size of my barbs but it also makes those impaled by them afflicted by a minor feeling of sickness and deals low damage. That one kind of sounds cool but I don't want to go down the edgy death and sickness route. Plus if I do choose that route, then I wouldn't be able to be around other creatures as much like Shelton because being near me would make them feel sick. I like the sound of this one. It makes my tentacles tire less easily, and makes them more... overwhelming? I'm not really sure what that means but that's what it says in the description and it sounds good, plus it makes my barbs a little bigger and better so I think I'll take it. Yes please! While I could choose to just have all my mutations occur at once so I'm not spending as much time feeling my organs crawl. I want to mutate them one by one so that I can tell if my evolutionary theory bonus is correct. As my tentacles wriggle and coil as they take on a darker shade of grey, and grow a little bit bigger with a few extra barbs popping out here and there, I hear the system speak out once again. It said it again! I flexed my new arms around feeling out their strength but quickly lose interest as I realize that they're going to chain once again when I evolve in a little bit. But on a good note, it would seem that I can keep on getting more and more evolutionary energy for every mutation that I max out! Lets keep going! [Pitch Black Ink Sac has increased to level 4!] [Pitch Black Ink Sac has increased to level 5!] [You are able to choose your next evolution for your Pitch Black Ink Sac!] I glance through the listed options quickly narrowing down my search as my ink sac doesn't have nearly as many avenues as my other mutations. This mutation just makes it easier for my ink to affect a wider amount of my surroundings. I do think that the size of my ink clouds will increase along with my own size, but making my own "domain" larger, would certainly be a welcomed advantage on the battlefield. Yep! "Auuuuugh", My voice rings throughout the cavern as I groan out in discomfort. I can get used to living in the body of an octopus, but it's still weird actually FEELING organs move around within my body. Huh? That last part wasn't mentioned before... So I won't get anymore benefits from evolving my mutations to the max? ... But if the max evolutionary limit will increase for my next evolution, then shouldn't I still max them all out for now? I think I'll do just that. If I evolve and my mutation limit becomes tier 4, then there is no real reason not to max out my mutations to tier 3 for now if I have to upgrade them next evolution as well. [Inky Vision Eyeballs has increased to level 4!] [Inky Vision Eyeballs has increased to level 5!] [You are able to choose your next advancement for your Inky Vision Eyeballs!] [Rushing Quick Siphons have increased to level 4!] [Rushing Quick Siphons have increased to level 5!] [You are able to choose your next advancement for your Rushing Quick Siphons!] As I maxed out my last two evolution menus, I looked through their respective options before picking my path. Yep Yep! 'Eeeeugh!' I know that I said that I'm still not used to mutating, but when you're eyeballs involuntarily move, that's when my non-existent gag reflex really kicks in. Thankfully though, my discomfort soon ends, followed be a few messages from the system. Voila! Now, let's get to the main course! Evolution!
