"Jen, wha-what are you saying? Are you out of your mind? Are you still effected by yesterday night's alcohol!?!" Deren asked horrified yet he hoped this wasn't a dream.
The girl he loves is actually asking him to date her. Is this for real?
"Deren," Jennifer callef out as she broke the hug. The serious look on her face almost made the bubbles in his heart pop.
See, now she's going to say she was joking. Deren thought as a sarcastic smile appeared on his lips. And here, he almost believed her. Just why can't she understand he loves her way too much. Even joke like that makes his heart palpitate faster.
He knew that she likes someone else. She belongs to someone else. But still, he didn't want to let go of her. Not for now atleast. The day he saved her from those hooligans and looked at her petite pitiful form, he unknowingly fell in love with her. And the moment, he discovered she is his batchmate and benchmate, he fell harder for her.
But every fantacy has a end. So did his fantacy too. The day he confessed his love to her, she confessed her love for someone else.
Yet, he tried every means to keep her with him. From crying and begging, to manipulating her and threatning to suicide, which resulted in their present day relationship.
And now at present, here she's. Playing with his heart with her little jokes.
"Deren, I'm serious. Let's date," Jennifer said with all seriousness as she held his hands.
See, didn't he say she would... wait, what?!
Deren snapped at her face to face as he looked at her with wide eyes.
"Did I hear right? Or my ears playing dramatically?" He askef subconsciously as held her hands tightly, pulling her close.
His look was so comical, that Jennifer broke into a fit of laughter as she bumped her forehead with his, "Oh stupid, I'm serious, Deren. But... haha... you look so comical."
Deren actually couldn't believe that. He thought he was dreaming. What actually happened he didn't know... but His Jen suddenly changed 180° and was even asking him to date her.
Is he dreaming? Oh God, if he's ,please don't wake him up. He wants to keep on having this dream.
But after not getting an answet from Deren after such a long time, her laughter gradually faded, replaced with nervousness and confusion, "Or umm... you perhaps don't love me any-"
"I do. I love you, Jenn. I love you," Deren hurriedly confessed as he didn't want to hear anything reverse of this situation.
If she wants to date him, then so be it. Don't need him to dual on the reason, or cause of it.
It doesn't mattet if she's cheating or joking with him. He will welcome it all as long as she let him to stay with her.
He has no one but her. And he doesn't want to lose her. Never ever!
