Chapter 3 - The three that caused distraught

The three scarred demons towered over the Vincetti, their twisted features twisted and distorted by their demonic nature. The one in front, the one who had suggested killing and eating the Vincetti, let out a menacing growl as it stepped forward.

"You Vincetti," the demon spat. "You think you can defeat us? You are nothing but weak, pitiful mortals."

The demon to its right, the one who had called them people, sneered. "We will tear you apart and feast on your flesh."

The final demon, the one who had corrected its comrade, simply stared at the Vincetti with a cold, calculating gaze. "You have no hope of winning this battle," it said.

Gabriel, Reagan, and Leopold knew they were outnumbered and outmatched, but they refused to give up. They held their ground and prepared to fight for their lives.

The demons let out a deafening roar and the hoards charged toward the Vincetti, but they fought back with all their might. They swung their swords, slicing through the hoards of demons that swarmed them. The demons' flesh was tough as steel, and they punched like five full-grown men pushing down on them. They didn't know how to escape the situation so they just fought on.

The scarred demons watched on with growing frustration as the three Vincetti fought on, their skills and determination impressing them. Realizing that they would have to intervene if they wanted to defeat the Vincetti, the three demons parted the hoards again, and the biggest one charged toward the three fighters. Leopold was punched yards away into a tree, splitting the hoard of demons with his limp body by the biggest scarred demon. Even after being flung far to the tree line, the giant demon continued to run at him, and they engaged in battle. Meanwhile, the other two massive demons paired up against Gabriel and Reagan, and they began to fight.

The three fought with all their might, slicing through the regular demons left and right with their swords. But the scarred demons were different, their flesh tougher than steel or rock and their strength was unmatched.

So Gabriel and Reagan had to dodge, but Leopold didn't have that luxury. His Adrenalin pushed through the pain and the fear making him feel invincible. Determined to emerge victorious, he reached an ability high, moving faster than he had ever before

Leopold was locked in a fierce battle with the largest of the scarred demons. The demon towered over him, its massive fists crashing down again and again on his sword. But Leopold was determined, using all the training he had received to strike back, landing blow after blow on the demon. His speed and confidence were admired by the demon though the demon knew he was in immense pain. Blood spilled from his helmet, gloves, and body armor, he was obviously on his last leg.

On the other side, Gabriel and Reagan were fighting and could feel their energy draining, their muscles aching from the constant fighting. But they pushed on, knowing that if they gave up, they would surely die.

Finally, after what felt like hours, Gabriel and Reagan managed to defeat their opponents, their swords piercing the scarred demons' hearts. But the battle was far from over, as the enormous demon was still locked in combat with Leopold.

With one final burst of energy and adrenaline, Leopold delivered the killing blow before collapsing, his sword plunging into the demon's heart. The demon let out a deafening roar before collapsing to the ground, dead.

The three Vincetti stood victorious, their bodies battered and bruised but their spirits unbroken. They had proven themselves to be true warriors of the Vincetti clan, and they would not be forgotten.

But something was amiss. The deafening roar they heard did not come from the demon Leopold had defeated, it came from the village. Suddenly, their senses were heightened and they could hear the screams of the villagers and smell the smoke which was also rising from beyond the trees where the village is. They quickly rushed to help Leopold, who had collapsed after the battle, and the three of them ran as fast as they could towards the village, which was now swarmed with demons and had received reinforcements from the ones who had attacked them.
