After the heartfelt conversation with his mother, Mokami decided to meet with Toru, another person he should meet as soon as possible to have a heart to heart conversation and see where they are. Mokami decided to plan a special outing for Toru to show his affection and to give her the opportunity to reflect on her feelings. He wanted to create a memorable experience for them to enjoy together while they discussed their experiences and their future together. Even if she decides to not be his lover, they can stay friends and that would serve as a good memory.
Mokami spent hours meticulously planning their third date. He wanted everything to be perfect for Toru, and he carefully chose a picturesque lakeside spot in his garden, surrounded by nature for their romantic evening. He prepared a gourmet picnic with all of Toru's favorite foods, including homemade sushi and an assortment of fresh fruits and desserts. He even went the extra mile to find a cozy blanket for them to sit on as they enjoyed their meal under the stars.
As the sun began to set, casting a warm golden glow on the lake, Mokami led Toru to their special spot. Her eyes lit up in surprise and delight as she took in the serene scene before her.
"Wow, Moka-chan," she breathed, "this is absolutely beautiful."
Mokami smiled, pleased that she appreciated his efforts. "I wanted our third date to be special, and I thought this would be the perfect place for us to talk and enjoy each other's company."
They settled down on the blanket, and Mokami began unpacking their meal. Toru couldn't help but marvel at the effort he had put into the date, and she found herself feeling more certain than ever about her feelings for him. As they ate, they shared stories of their internships, laughing at each other's experiences and discussing what they had learned.
Ignoring the hell descended on the country. Both of them knew that the other was worried, but there was no need to express their fears, anger, and discomfort. They couldn't do anything to change the situation, so any words they spoke would sound empty and boastful. Although they were angry, they understood that showing it in this situation would be pointless and ruin the moment.
After they finished their meal, Mokami and Toru sat side by side, gazing at the stars, just leaning each other, and reveling in the moment.
"Moka-chan, I have to tell you something," Toru began, her voice soft but steady. "During our time apart, I had a lot of time to think about my feelings for you. I realized that they aren't just a result of gratitude. I genuinely like you, Moka-chan."
Mokami looked at her, his eyes filled with warmth and affection. "I'm so glad to hear that, Toru-chan. I've been thinking about my feelings for you too, and I can honestly say that I like you and can even see myself falling in love with you."
Toru's heart swelled with happiness, and she leaned her head against Mokami's shoulder. "I'm so happy to hear that. I was afraid that you might doubt my feelings, but I want you to know that they are real."
They sat in silence for a moment, simply enjoying each other's presence. Finally, Mokami spoke up, his voice filled with determination.
"Toru-chan, I want us to be honest and open with each other from now on. I want us to grow together and face any challenges that come our way. Can you promise me that?"
Toru looked into Mokami's eyes, her own brimming with love and resolve. "I promise, Moka-chan. I'll always be honest with you, and I'll stand by your side no matter what."
Mokami pulled her into a warm embrace, sealing their promise with a tender kiss. As they held each other beneath the starlit sky, they knew that they had reached a turning point in their relationship, and that their bond would only continue to grow stronger.
As they sat in each other's arms, Mokami decided to share with Toru some of his experiences during his internship. He recounted the tale of his battle against the villain known as The Chameleon, who had the ability to change his color scheme and become invisible whenever he desired. Toru listened intently, but her heart ached at the mention of Chameleon's quirk – it was something she had always wished for herself, the ability to control her own invisibility.
Noticing the sadness in her eyes, Mokami hesitated for a moment before deciding to reveal one of his deepest secrets. He took a deep breath and spoke softly, "Toru-chan, I need to tell you something very important. I trust you, but this secret is something that could put both of us at risk if it were to get out. I need to know that you're willing to take that risk with me."
Toru nodded, her eyes filled with determination. "I trust you, Moka-chan. I promise I'll do everything in my power to protect your secret."
Mokami took her hand and began to explain his own quirk – the ability to alter or modify people's bodies. He revealed that he had traveled to Egypt in the first place to confront The Chameleon and acquire his DNA or a part of his body. Mokami's ultimate goal was to find a way to alter Toru's quirk, allowing her to control her invisibility and become visible whenever she wanted.
Toru was overwhelmed with emotion, tears welling up in her eyes. "Moka-chan, you did all that for me?"
Mokami smiled softly. "Yes, Toru-chan. I want to help you in any way I can. But there's something else I need to tell you. Before we go any further, I'd like to place a chip inside your mind. This chip will protect your thoughts from being read by others, and also give you access to a small computer connected to your brain. It will allow me to locate you whenever you need help, but it also means that you have to trust me with that information. If you're not comfortable with it, we can wait."
Toru thought for a moment, then nodded resolutely. "I trust you, Moka-chan. I want to take this step with you.
Mokami gently touched Toru's forehead, and using his quirk, he slowly formed a small chip inside her brain, connected to her mind. Toru soon heard a sound in her ears, coming directly from the chip without even speaking. The chip sent signals to the part responsible for hearing, creating the illusion of sound, despite there being none.
A soft, gentle voice resonated in her mind. "Hello, Toru. I am an AI created to serve and assist you. Please give me a name."
Toru thought for a moment before settling on a name. "You will be called Hikari."
"Understood, Toru. I am Hikari, at your service."
After their emotional exchange, Mokami led Toru to the secret lab beneath his mansion. He showed her a massive tail that he had managed to obtain from The Chameleon. "With this, Toru-chan, I can work on altering your quirk. It will be a complex and delicate process, but I'm dedicated to helping you."
Toru, touched by Mokami's determination and devotion, felt a renewed sense of hope. She knew the journey ahead would be challenging, but with Mokami by her side, she believed they could overcome any obstacle.
Mokami looked at Toru, his eyes filled with love and concern. "Toru-chan, I will continue to work on the necessary experiments to alter your quirk. It may take some time, but I'm confident that I can do it."
Toru smiled, her heart overflowing with gratitude. "Thank you, Moka-chan. I can't express how much this means to me."
They shared one more tender moment, hugging each other tightly and sealing their commitment to each other with a sweet, lingering kiss. It was a promise, not just to support each other but to face the challenges that lay ahead together.
