Todoroki sat quietly on the car ride to the airport, his mind racing with thoughts and emotions. He had come so far since the days when he refused to use his left side. Mokami was one of the biggest reasons to break out of his shell and accept his past.

It wasn't easy to let go of the pain and trauma that came with being the son of Endeavor, but Mokami's teachings had helped him to see that he was more than just his father's legacy. The quirks that he possessed were his own, and he didn't have to let them define him.

It was a hard lesson to learn, but Todoroki was grateful for the support and encouragement that Mokami had given him. It was because of him that Todoroki was able to accept his left side and use it freely. Not all came from his words, some were due to the sense of helplessness whenever he was against this unconquerable gap between them. Even before the Sports Festival, he knew he was weaker than Mokami, but when he truly stood against him for the first time, he felt how big the difference between them was. If Mokami wanted, Todoroki could do nothing. Like how Momo robbed Katsuki of using his ability, Mokami could stop him from forming ice and fire.

As the car pulled up to the airport, Todoroki took a deep breath and looked over at Mokami. Although they had never been close friends, Todoroki felt a sense of gratitude and respect toward him. He knew that without Mokami's help, he wouldn't be the person he is today.

"Thank you," Todoroki finally spoke, breaking the silence that had filled the car. "For everything. I wouldn't have been able to accept myself without your help."

Mokami turned to look at him, a smile on his face. "You don't have to thank me, Todoroki. It was all you. You did the hard work. I just gave you a push in the right direction."

Todoroki nodded, feeling a weight lift off his shoulders. As he stepped out of the car and into the airport, he knew that he was ready for whatever challenges lay ahead. He had come too far to let his past define him, and he had Mokami to thank for that.

Mokami and Todoroki walked in silence toward the airport, their suitcases rolling behind them. Todoroki couldn't help but feel a sense of unease in the quietness between them. He had never been the most social of people, and he wasn't used to the lack of conversation.

"Uh, Mokami," he said, breaking the silence once again, "What do you think Egypt will be like?"

Mokami turned to face him, a small smile on his face. "Well, from what I've heard, it's going to be hot," he replied with a chuckle.

Todoroki nodded, unsure of what to say next. He had never been good at small talk, and he wasn't sure how to keep the conversation going.

"So, how are you feeling about the internship?" Mokami asked, sensing Todoroki's discomfort.

Todoroki shifted uneasily, still not used to opening up to others. "I'm a little nervous, to be honest," he admitted. "I've never been to Australia before, and I don't know anyone there."

Mokami nodded sympathetically. "Yeah, I get it. But you know, you're going to do great. You've come so far already. And hey, at least you'll have some great stories to tell when you get back."

Todoroki smiled slightly at Mokami's words, feeling grateful for his friend's encouragement. "Thanks, Mokami. I really appreciate it."

Mokami grinned, "Don't mention it."

Todoroki nodded, feeling warmth in his chest. Despite their different personalities and interests, he was grateful for Mokami's support and friendship. Maybe this internship would be a chance for him to become more comfortable in his own skin, just like Mokami had helped him accept his left side. For now, he was content to enjoy the journey with his friend, and see where it took them.

Mokami and Todoroki navigated through the airport, following the signs to their respective gates. They walked in silence, the only sound the shuffle of their feet on the polished floors and the hum of the people around them.

As they reached their gates, they stopped and faced each other. Todoroki spoke first, his voice quiet but clear.

"See you in a week, Mokami. Take care."

"Have fun,"

Todoroki nodded, a small smile on his face. They then turned and went their separate ways.

Mokami's head was filled with other thoughts, as he was conversing with Todoroki. Although he was capable of answering, most were Nigel's responses.

Mokami walked to his gate and waited, lost in thought. He remembered his little adventure with Toru and Momo, and couldn't help but smile. "I am going to miss them. Good thing I was able to visit Inko during the break. I should take her out sometimes. As it is, our relationship looks like it's all about sex. I don't want that. I care about her. And I should visit Mitsuki soon too. After signing the deal, I didn't go to my dear friend Bakugou's house. He would feel sorry if I didn't visit, right?"

As he boarded the plane, he felt a pang of sadness. He didn't like being away from his family for so long. But he was excited about his internship in Egypt, and he knew he would come back as a better hero.

As the plane took off, he closed his eyes and let out a deep breath. 'I hope I can manage what I am aiming for in this internship. If what she wrote is true, I can finally solve that problem that was bugging me for quite some time. Although, it is risky with all those regulations.'

Egypt was extremely strict when it came to Quirk usage. Although heroes were allowed to act with heavy force against villains, those without the license would be heavily punished upon being caught, including students. He initially didn't want to come due to this reason, but there was something he needed in this internship. He couldn't miss this chance.
