Teacher Thirteen and the class arrived at the outside of the USJ by opening another hole. Thirteen's Quirk could destroy the ground and send it to god knew where, thus their path was clear. Once outside, they were met with Nezu, All-Might, and other teachers who had already been informed of the situation.
Momo explained what had happened and said they were currently communicating and the culprit that could open warp gates had been apprehended by Mokami and Aizawa... The students watched in awe as All-Might praised Mokami for his courage and innovation.
With All-Might leading, all the teachers except Nomu and Thirteen entered the building to catch the villains. Close to the entrance, where Thirteen opened up the ditch, Nomu was punching the ground. All-Might picked his opponent as soon as he saw him, and dashed forward.
With the most troublesome opponent out of the way, other teachers had also started to battle.
"Seems like teachers and All-Might are here," Mokami called out when the punching stopped.
"Let's go out. I need to help them." Aizawa said. He didn't need to keep an eye on Kurogiri.
Honestly, he couldn't keep him there if the villain wanted to escape. After all, Aizawa had to blink once in a while which was enough for Kurogiri to open a gate and warp away. He wasn't, because he was afraid of the 'bomb.'
"Okay." Mokami nodded and created a vial with green acid inside. People didn't know he and Momo could change the form of items they created, (Mokami can change the form of everything, even if he didn't create them), so he had to melt the wall away.
After securing the perimeter, he threw the vial at the ceiling he created, and it started to dissolve. And in no time at all, they were free once again.
Aizawa took Kurogiri and jumped out and joined the other teachers. Mokami on the other hand followed the path Thirteen carved and reached outside of the school.
With Kurogiri menace out of the picture, the following battles weren't that hard. Aizawa just looked in the direction of the villains, and the teacher caught them. Their teamwork and powers were perfect for the job after all and most heroes mastered neutralizing instead of destruction, thus it wasn't hard for them to take down the villain and lock them down.
While they were doing so, police too arrived and students were taken away from the building. With Aizawa there and healthy, Nomu wasn't a problem either. Although most of his power came from mutation-type Quirks, while Aizawa canceled Shock Absorption Quirk, Nomu was taken down by All-Might without much effort.
The rest were the same as the anime. All the mobs got caught, and when Kurogiri and Shigaraki were about to be taken away too, a black ooze-like liquid from their mouths enveloped their entire body and acted as a warping portal. The two vanished without any clue except the permeating horrid smell. Before Kurogiri was taken into the warp, the 'bomb' Mokami created was taken away from the neck brace and thrown to the ground. Since he said it was distance sensitive, no one suspected it to be fake as only a few knew about it.
When All-Might saw how they disappeared, his face darkened and he clenched his hands. He had a bad feeling about this, and from the conversation between villains, he picked up a few clues. Something bad was brewing.
At this time, Mokami was lazily drinking tea, while watching students talking with the police.
"That was unexpected," Kirishima said while looking at him. Mokami nodded and answered, "Yeah."
"Sirens roar back in front of the USJ as Police Detective Tsukauchi Naomasa counted the students.
"…16, 17, 18, 19. And the hero of the day..." He pointed at Mokami, "20. We are all good.
"But can you tell me how you did all you did?"
"What did I do?" Mokami asked in surprise.
"You were able to sneak out a device from the building, alert the school, come up with a plan to safely take all the students out of the building, and captured one of the key villains." The man said while reading from the appearance.
"Is it me or does it sound like you don't want to praise me so you are listing my achievements," Mokami asked with a grin.
"..."
Seeing the deadpan expression on his face, Mokami got serious too, he looked at the man as if he was looking at a fool, "Are you accusing me of anything, detective?"
"I am not, don't get me wrong." The man shook his head, "It is just not something a high-school student can do."
"So was shooting fire from hands a few decades ago." Mokami shrugged.
"That is Quirk, yours is not. If I am reading right, your Quirk is a creation, right? It explains the device you sent to school, and of course the wall you used to seal the ditch. There is also the fake bomb... but how you manage to think all that, nope, it doesn't explain that."
"Oh, excuse me. I didn't know you were so misinformed." Mokami stood up and looked at the man with a sincere smile, "I am just that smart."
"Can you answer a few questions please?" Detective asked after a little stare-down.
"Did you know about this incident before it happened?"
"No."
"Did you know any of the villains before today?"
"No."
"Do you know my Quirk?"
"No."
"Have you ever used your Quirk illegally?"
"Yes."
"To hurt anyone?"
"No."
"What is going on in here?" A voice arrived from behind the detective at this moment, ending the stare-down.
"You are?" Detective asked as he looked at the newcomer.
"Bakin Oki, Attorney of Law, and Mr. Yaoyorozu's Solicitor. Did I hear wrong, or were you interrogating my client?" Bakin asked.
"I was asking routine questions." Tsukauchi showed his hands, as he answered.
"They didn't sound 'routine' to me. From what I heard, you were accusing my client of collaborating with villains. The same group that would attack and kill all the students if it wasn't for my client. And do I need to remind you that if it wasn't for him, there would be lots of blood on the ground right now? Thanks to him, there is not a scar on any of the students." Bakin entered Tsukauchi's comfort zone and asked one after the other.
"Sir, step back." The detective called out, "How did you find out all that?"
"I have my sources, do I need to spill them out for you or can I keep the right to freedom to access the information?"
"I didn't mean that. This is an open investigation and it hadn't been long since the incident occurred, I was just wondering."
"Before you start to question my integrity too as you did to my client, let me say it then, not like it is a secret." Bakin removed his phone and opened a video. On it, the whole USJ incident was playing out. Except for the ditch, which the cameras couldn't reach, everywhere else could be seen.
"This!" Tsukauchi took the phone and looked in dread. The conversation between All-Might and villains, Shigaraki's soliloquies about the League of Villains and their lofty dreams, all of them had already spread on the internet. "Who!?"
"Probably one of the villains." Bakin shrugged, "You are not gonna pin this blame on my client, do you now?"
"Of course not." Tsukauchi shook his head in defeat, as he walked away.
"How was it?" Mokami asked as the detective walked away.
"He was hostile towards you. What did you do to him?" Bakin asked with a grin.
"Nothing." Mokami shook his head. He too was surprised, from the show he remembered the detective was pretty benign. He was kind to students, and polite when talking.
"Fuck!"
"What happened," Bakin asked as he heard Mokami curse.
'Shit! Shit! I know why they are suspecting me!'
