'Great! Copy the entire memory from my mind about the conversation I have with the female tester. No! Copy the entire mission from the beginning to this conversation as well. Then remove all of it, and replace it with something similar to the video I edited. Instead of lapses in memory at the parts which were cut, put in censoring such that I could not understand what they are saying.'
'Also, remove the parts where I came to the conclusion that they are from Earth, so remove the part where I saw the pixels. And keep the original saved memories in two separate back-ups in case one of them is destroyed.'
'Lastly, keep them stored with this message from me, and replace the saved memories with the altered ones after 2 months. I should be safe by then'
'Dear future me, I am erasing some of my own memories and replacing them with fake ones in order to reduce the possibility of my identity as a reincarnate from Earth being discovered. This way, I will not remember myself having any relation with the immortals as you might remember them, but they are just actually alpha testers; or players. Anyways, by the time you get this message, it should likely already be safe, however in case they decide to imprison me for a week or two, plus monitor me for longer, I decided to take 2 months as the time for the memories to return. Hope you are doing well! Bye!'

'Huh?' Kai looked around him as he felt like something had happened, but he could not quite put his finger on it. However, he was getting quite bored just sitting here. He had already submitted his ring where all the information about the rather weird incident was recorded. He was now just waiting and had been waiting for the past two hours.
Seeing as he had nothing better to do, Kai took out a bronze coin and began fiddling with it, making his plans about the future.
I need to earn enough mana crystals to be able to afford at least quite a few potions…
Alternatively, he could try and get his hands on the potion recipe, however, that would require a lot more starting capital.
Sighing, Kai put the coin into his pocket and looked up at the ceiling, when his eyes suddenly came across a young girl pass by him, around the same age as him. She had a dull orange colour at the ends of her black hair, making it seem as though she had dyed her hair before, and it had grown considerably after.
However, as far as Kai knew, there were no dyes for hair in this world, at least he had not heard about or come across it yet. This was the most striking feature about the girl, so Kai just remembered her face and went back to pondering his next actions.
At this moment, Kai was called in by the receptionist for a meeting with the higher-ups, and he complied.
"So, tell us what happened." A skinny elderly mage in Blue robes said to Kai.
"Well, I accepted a mission to investigate the rumours about certain immortals in a town near us. Upon reaching there, the first thing I did was collect information, and what better way to do that than to go to the local bar. So that is what I did, and found out that there were apparently immortal humans with green arrows above their heads around the town, not entering it since the town's guards had tried to capture them. Therefore, I went to investigate outside the town."
"You have not learned a spell yet…" A female elderly mage in green robes raised an eyebrow.
"Yes, but I am very… adept at physical combat. That is why I bring around my sword everywhere… well it can't be considered a sword for an adult, but it is for me." Kai said as he pointed at the sword around his waist.
"Although I cannot use it in the sect, I can still use it outside, and it should not have been a problem for me to escape if I encountered danger," Kai said.
The frail-looking elderly mage in blue robes snorted at Kai's comment but motioned him to continue.
"Well, after a long time of searching, I finally found what I was looking for. Three humans with yellow arrows floating above their heads. Although the colour was different, it was exactly the same shape as what was mentioned by the bartender. So, I attacked them."
"Why?" the lady mage asked.
"If they were not immortal, which had been highly likely at the time, they would simply die and I would have not only investigated the situation but also resolved it all in one go. And if they were, they would not die."
"However, they did die. Unfortunately, there was no blood, only a blue glow from the wounds, and moments after they died, their bodies vanished. Therefore, I tried to question the remaining immortal since not having blood was a rather odd feature for any living creature, along with the vanishing bodies, it was extremely peculiar. What came out of her mouth was utter gibberish. All she did was continue to speak incomprehensible grunts and yells, and after a while, I eliminated her since there was no way for me to extract any more information from her."
"To my surprise, as I was returning to the Sect to report my findings, the same two 'immortals' that I had first killed had returned, only this time completely naked. I can be sure it was them since their expressions were also rather frustrated when they noticed me, and based on the sweat on their bodies, they had been running non-stop to my location for quite some time."
"Anything odd you found about them?" the female green robed mage asked Kai.
"Yes. They were weak. Absolutely weak. None of them had any training of any sort and did not have any reflexes or reactions to avoid or dodge, or even counter-attack my attacks. It was like a child's mind was thrown into the body of an adult."
Kai finished everything he had to say, and after a moment of silence, the female mage allowed Kai to leave, and he complied and returned to the main hall of the reception of the Battle Hall, where he was given his reward for the mission; 200 mana crystals!
…
Meanwhile, the two magi within the conference room where Kai had just been was talking with each other using their Spiritual Energy without moving their mouths.
'This is a significant matter. We must inform the council. They can make the decision on how to deal with the situation.'
'No. We should send an official mage to investigate properly, it could have been a coincidence, or the child was fooled by outside forces making him feel like there were immortals. You know this is possible.'
'If outside forces are involved, it makes it all the more reason for us to inform the council.'
The male elderly mage was stumped for words before he nodded and left the room with the female mage, sighing in defeat once more. He could simply never win a war of words with her, despite being her senior by a few years.
