Chapter 68 - Frost Jeweled Lobster (Part 2)

Tie Zhu gazed in awe at the magnificent creature on his kitchen table, his mouth watering at the thought of the final product. It had been years since he had last tasted such an exquisite meal as lobster, yet he could still vividly recall the juicy, tender meat bursting with flavor.

He took out his kitchen knife, intending to remove the frost gems from the lobster's outer shell. However, to his surprise, no matter how hard he tried, the jewels remained firmly in place.

With a loud snap, Tie Zhu's knife suddenly broke as he struggled to dislodge the first jewel. "Ah! My knife.." he exclaimed in frustration.

Wang Yazhu scolded him, "Are you stupid? Even though the creature is dead, it was still a core formation realm beast. Its shell is too tough for an ordinary knife like yours. If you want to prepare it, you need a knife from the spatial stone."

Hearing his reminder Tie Zhu did exactly as told and found that as soon as the knife touched the lobster, it effortlessly cut through the shell that had seemed impervious before as of a hot knife going through butter. With only the slightest bit of pressure, he had easily dislodged the ten gleaming jewels, each of which emitted a refreshing cool aura.

After removing the jewels, Tie Zhu used his special knife made from spatial stone to easily slice through the shell, revealing the tender and succulent meat inside. The aroma of the lobster meat filled the air, a tantalizing blend of sea salt and a subtle hint of sweetness, as he further cut the lobster into fleshy bite sized pieces. As the whole lobster was too large to fit in his wok, Tie Zhu stored the remaining pieces back in his spatial stone to reserve for a later time.

After preparing the lobster, Tie Zhu also retrieved another secret ingredient from the spatial stone, a jar of heaven dew rice wine. Based on Wang Yazhus' explanation the wine was said to be made from the purest rice grains, which were grown in the heavens and imbued with the energy of the stars. The grains were then fermented for centuries, with each passing year only adding to the wine's complexity and depth of flavor.

But what truly set Heaven Dew Rice Wine apart was its unique ability to enhance one's cultivation and spiritual power. Those who consumed it would experience a profound sense of clarity and focus, as if the very essence of the universe was flowing through them. Their senses would sharpen, their perception would become more acute, and their energy would surge to new heights. In a world where power was everything, Heaven Dew Rice Wine was a symbol of status and strength.

With all the ingredients and preparation ready Tie Zhu began to cook the dish. Starting off, he grated the fresh ginger and minced the scallions, releasing their pungent and fragrant scents into the air. The heaven dew rice wine, its special properties only available to god-like entities, shimmered in its bottle as he measured out the perfect amount to add to the dish.

As he heated up the wok, Tie Zhu added a generous amount of oil and waited for it to shimmer before tossing in the ginger and scallions. The sizzle and pop of the ingredients hitting the hot oil filled the kitchen, and the scent of the fragrant aromatics filled his nostrils.

Finally, Tie Zhu added the lobster meat to the wok, and the sizzling intensified as the tender meat quickly cooked through. He added a splash of the heaven dew rice wine, the unique ingredient adding a depth and complexity to the dish that could not be replicated with any other ingredient. The aroma of the wine mingled with that of the lobster, and Tie Zhu could feel his mouth watering in anticipation.

As Tie Zhu finished plating up the ginger scallion lobster, the aroma filled the kitchen and wafted throughout the house. Tao Keke, who had been resting in her room, was suddenly awakened by the mouth-watering smell. She quickly made her way to the kitchen, her curiosity piqued by the delicious scent.

"Is that lobster I smell?" Tao Keke asked as she entered the kitchen, her eyes lighting up at the sight of the beautifully prepared dish on the table.

"Yes, it is," Tie Zhu replied, a hint of pride in his voice. "I used a special recipe with ginger, scallions, and a rare ingredient called heaven dew rice wine. Would you like to try it?"

Tao Keke eagerly nodded, and they both took a seat at the table. Tie Zhu served up the lobster, the tender meat glistening in the light, and they both took their first bite.

The taste was otherworldly. The lobster meat was succulent and juicy, with a slight sweetness that perfectly balanced the subtle saltiness of the sea. The fragrant aroma of ginger and scallions lingered in their mouths, and the hint of heaven dew rice wine added a complexity and depth to the flavor that was beyond compare.

Tao Keke couldn't help but let out a contented sigh. "This is amazing, Tie Zhu. The flavors blend together perfectly. What's your secret?"

Tie Zhu chuckled. "It's a combination of the freshest ingredients and a bit of skill. I'm glad you enjoy it."

As they continued to eat, they talked about their day and shared stories. The lobster, the centerpiece of the meal, was so delicious that it seemed to transport them to another world.
