Clarisse and the other girls stepped back in awe. Madam Uniko’s figure slowly rose from the puddle of water, and soon enough was standing in the middle. With a soft smile, she stepped out of the water, and then others started rising one after the other.
Soon enough all races had come to occupy the room, leaving them speechless. She’d never seen anything like it and could only wonder how it was even possible in the first place. But as the room was filled and the people kept coming up the puddle, Clarisse’s eyes were peeled for someone in particular.
“He’ll come out eventually,” Madam Uniko assured her.
“I’m still in awe, really,” Clarisse laughingly admitted, “How could you give me something like this so casually back then?”
The hybrid woman chuckled as she tilted her head and crossed her arms, “I never really gave much thought of it then. Just that I felt you were someone we could trust – ah, there he is!”
