Declan didn’t dare to open the paper Clarisse handed to him for over an hour. He kept it on his bedside table, staring at it for a long time, trying to reach for it, but in the end deciding to ignore it all throughout. Shannon was getting antsy with him glancing at it from time to time, and eventually, she couldn’t help but snap at him.
“Alpha should just throw that piece of paper away,” she scowled, “Sister Clarisse is nothing more but the past to Alpha now. Shannon is here, Alpha should look at his Luna Shannon instead.”
Lowell watched as Shannon demanded one after another from Declan, and he couldn’t help but feel bad. Shannon didn’t fit the image of a Luna in any shape or form at all. Despite her being the Alpha’s Fated Mate, Lowell couldn’t find it in his heart to accept her as his Luna as well.
