Hybrids had always been elusive from the other races due to the fact that they were shunned and branded as monsters for being ‘impure’. It wasn’t yesterday’s news that somehow, someone from another race would fall in love with someone from another race. Offspring from such relationships were for the most part of history, considered as outcasts.
One distinct characteristic for hybrids was three tattoo-like bands that ran around their arms. The shade was always darker than the hybrid’s skin color, and it would always be on the right arm. It was still a mystery how those marks came to be no matter what the mixed-race child would be.
Werewolf, fox, siren, vampire, witches. Breeding within one’s own race was considered the typical way of how things should be. Once the marks were seen, the social racism immediately comes in.
