After waiting for about 10 long minutes in the line soon it was my turn.
The person in charge looked like an elf staright from fantasy. She had a beautiful golden blonde hair and vibrant green eyes that looked truly bewitching. I can confidently say that she would put 99% models back on the mundane world to shame.
After staring at her for quite a while the elf lady in question broke me out my reverie.
"Um sir ID and Destination please." Said in a very melodic voice. I must say if it was me a year ago I would've definitely fallen in love but now I guess I'm becoming immune to this stuff.
Before coming here I thought long and hard about the ID problem. For this I planned to create a fake story and persona for my self. A lucky mundane human chanced with incredible luck and walked on the path of an elemental mage. It should be pretty believeable I think.
So I told the same made up story to the receptionist. She seems to just listen to the story and there is no emotion in her face so I don't know if my plan worked or not. Soon after I finished my tale she brought up something like phone than said something to the other person connected to the phone.
She then told me to wait 5 minutes cause apparently her supervisor is coming and he's gonna make the final decision. The reason I didn't just use demonic charm is because I don't even know if it'll work on these people and plus I'm not delusional to believe that I'm the strongest being here nor do I believe I'm the most knowledgeable here either so I didn't wanna take any unnecessary risks for no reason.
Soon a man in his mid thirties walked out. The man had silver hair and the looked quite handsome. The percuiler thing was his eyes they had triangles inside of them which honestly kinda looked very emo ish I guess.
The receptionist lady told him what I told her before. The man looked contemplating for a while then he looked towards me for the first time till he got here. I must say he looks intimidating. The faint energy fluctuations released while he looked towards me make me believe that he's atleast as strong as the Hive King I fought. He might even be stronger who knows.
"So Mr Talos You said you chanced out got very lucky and began the path of a Mage. My, i must say thats some very good luck."
The guy said with gentlemanly tone that's neither mocking or too casual.
"Alright than in that case we can indeed make another ID for you. I believe you know the procedure and Incase you don't well you just have to pay a certain amount of Human Money which we will transform into the credits of the Ancient World. If you didn't know then The Ancient World uses a credit system on all of it's continents."
I won't lie I thought they would use the gold, silver and bronze method that's depicted in world's like these. But this is cool as well I suppose.
After that after a another few minutes the man came back with a card after I paid him the money. The card looked quite metallic but not a type of metal that I know of though. It had some runes that would shine time to time.
I held it in my hand then sent some energy into it as they instructed. Soon a familiar popup window similar to my system opened up.

After messing with my ID for a while the receptionist lady then redirected me to another room. I soon went there and was greeted by an arena like venue. There were atleast 5000 seats in the arena and most were full.
In the arena many different beings were fighting against the testers. Apparently they need to atleast hit their tester 3 times in order to be let in or out of the Ancient world. After sitting near the higher seats of the arena I found out from different conversations that this rule was applied coz the atomshperic pressure and differences between gravity was the main reason. A normal human would be crushed just by the gravity pressure in the ancient world apparently.
Other than that if you don't have a good level of power the energy in the Ancient World itself would be like posion. I guess I now understand why this is very necessary. While I was waiting for my turn to be tested I heard a ruckus come from the entrance of the Arena.
So listened to guy closest to me who looked like a deer demi human.
"Hey bro do you know who those people are?" I questioned.
"Bro you dont know. You must have been living under a rock. Those are the royal family of the Sky Empire one the most prestigious empire in then entirety of the Warrio Continent. It's said that the current emperor of the empire is a 9th stage Cosmic Warrior. He can cleave though stars bro." Said the Demi human with extreme excitement.
But what I was really shocked about was the power level is really crazy in this world. I mean cleaving stars as if it's something common that's some next level stuff. Even I can hardly imagine the power you'd need to pull off something like that and apparently there are hundreds of beings that are stronger than this dude on the Warrio Continent and thats the weakest continent among the other 3 continents.
Damn this world is more crazy than I thought. No wonder the Old Gods made sure to not let these superhuman people out in the Mundane world otherwise Humans would've long gone extinct.
While this was happening I was watching the royal entourage also taking a seat in the VIP section of the arena.
