Akhazriel is stunned and his aura becomes ominous. “What is this again?” he said coldly with no expression at all, gazing at me sharply.
“Uhm…” I gulped.
There was once when a maidservant accidentally mentions the duchess. He suddenly grabbed the maidservant by the collar and looked at her like wanting to kill her. On that day, Azriel returned to the north and stayed in the forest for a couple of nights.
I followed him one night and secretly watched over him. I can sense his anger and irritation. He kept on killing the monsters without resting. He just stopped when he collapsed on the ground because of exhaustion. He will come back to the mansion covered in blood from all the monsters he killed.
“Azriel, I know you do not want to talk about her. However, I just wanted to tell you that I saw her together with a little boy…” I continue hesitantly.
“What?” he muttered. “You are telling me that you saw that woman together with a child?”
