Why was here again?
Waiting for someone who was going to end up leaving me for a City once more, but why haven't I left yet?
It's as if time is playing a trick with me when Hailey actually shows up at our favourite go-to restaurant. At this point, I'm torn between wanting to get her out of my life or back together.
Our eyes make contact and almost instantly she strides over to my table and places a lingering kiss on my lips. My body immediately responses to her, --something it was regularly accustomed to.
After physically detaching herself from me, I watch her sit across me, smiling as if it was just like old times, but it wasn't.
"Hey." She said.
"Hi."
