Chereads / Crimson Red… / Chapter 6 - Cp.5

Chapter 6 - Cp.5

"You do know that this is considered as kidnapping." I looked at the window, avoiding all possible eye contact. Reed only chuckled and continued to drive. It had been five minutes since we left the house to God knows where. Wait. Where was I going?

I fully turned around and faced him. "Where are you taking me?" I demanded to know, but my question barely came out as a whisper.

"Huh?" Reed glanced in my way, but continued to drive as I didn't respond.

I didn't want to be here. Especially when I was in this state. Who knew what I would be capable of doing? I was ready to give him a piece of my mind, but my stomach beat me to it as it unexpectedly grumbled. Quite loudy, if I might add.

My body immediately reacted to my embarrassing moment as I sank into the passenger seat, wanting it to swallow me up completely. I could hear Reed trying to hold in his laugher, but sadly, it came out loud and unfortunately, way too sexy.

I frustratedly pouted, crossing my arms over my chest and looked at the window. Reed had pulled over, continuing to laugh. I was so furious that I didn't know whether I wanted to kill him or kiss him. Oh my god. It felt like I was on my periods, but worse!

"You hungry?" He smiled, poking my ribs so I would face him. A glare was all I could manage, but sadly, my stomach, once again, grumbled.

Reed chuckled. "I know this great pizza place. Wanna go?"

A smile formed on my lips when Reed had finally pulled into a parking space. I immediately opened the passenger door, but regretted it when the cold air slapped me so suddenly. My body retraced it's previous steps, as my hand clung to the door handle.

The wind softly blew passed me, temporarily blocking my eyesight as my hair wildly scattered across face. My fingers instantly ran through it to put them in their original place. I blinked, surprised that Reed suddenly stood in front of me.

"Here." He handed me a black hoodie. His black hoodie. I stuttered, not knowing what I should say.

"Thank you." I took the hoodie out of his hand and wore it. Side by side, we walked into the restaurant and soon a waitress greeted us at the door. "Welcome to Pizza Organica. Where would you like to sit?"

I stood still, waiting for him to respond. "In that corner booth, over there." Reed grabbed my right hand, intertwining them as he led me to the booth. We sat down on opposite seats with our still intertwined hands on the table. The waitress, Kimberly, had awkwardly coughed at us. My eyes followed hers, frowning when her eyes landed on Reed, then our intertwined hands.

"What you want, babe?" Reed playfully waved his index finger at the menu. I briefly scanned the food items, but wasn't sure if he would like the type of pizza that I wanted.

I gave his intertwined hand a gentle squeeze, catching him by surprise. "You know this place better than I do, so you choose."

Reed was flustered. He turned to face the waitress and gave her one of his signature, flashy smiles. "Please get us the, All you can eat different flavours on a large pizza and two caned cokes, Kimberly."

Fudge. The way her name rolled off of his tongue, gave me, as well the female who was serving us goosebumps. Kimberly swallowed her saliva down her throat, nodding.

I removed my hand from his, bringing both of my hands together while blowing warm air into them when she had left.

"Are your hands cold?" He questioned. I chose to ignore him, causing Reed to grab both of my hands, warming them with his.

His actions made me feel uncomfortable. I tried to jerk away from his hold, but he was superior to me.

"Stop it, will you?"

Reed blew warm air into my hands, rubbing them with his. "Stop what?" I looked away, avoiding his searching eyes.

"Stop trying too hard, it's freaking me out."

He gave me an adorable smile. That only made me want to glare at him. Reed bent his head down and kissed my knuckles. I bit my bottom lip, trying not to look at him.

"Look."

I turned around, then faced him. "Look? At what?"

Reed pointed. "Come closer, you have something on your hair."

"Where?" I lend forward, trying to see upwards with my eyes.

I didn't plan it. I don't know how it happened. Reed's right hand held my left cheek, pulling me in towards him.

"Right here." He whispered, before stealing a kiss from me. A kiss that lasted shorter than I had imagined. A peck. A long one. That's what it was. I couldn't help, but feel disappointed for a moment.

He pecked my forehead too, before being the first one to realise that our order had arrived.

"I'm starving." He rubbed his hands together excitedly before taking a bite.

I stared at him, dumbstruck, as he munched on a slice and licked the remainings of the pizza off his lower lip.

"Eat." He motioned. I took one of the pieces and slow began chewing.

Slow chewing turned into regular chewing. Each time I was surprised by the flavours of the slices, normally letting out a moan and sucking on my index finger to remove the taste.

As soon as we had finished eating, Reed paid for the bill and we headed out.

"You want to go home?" He asked when I was opening the passenger door, trapping me against it.

I shook my head. "Not really. Want to entice me?"

Reed chuckled, before closing the door for me. "Just remember, you asked for it."

"So..." He started the car. "Where do you want to go?"

Sighing, I said what any person who wanted to run away from it all.

"Anywhere."

"This is my jam." I increased radio speaker's volume, smiling widely. Taylor Swift's End Game was playing. I grabbed my invisible microphone and dramatically started singing. Reed was feeling the song too, as he was nodding his head to the rhythm of the song.

I wanna be your end game

I wanna be your first string

I wanna be your A-team

I wanna be your end game, end game

Big reputation, big reputation

Ooh you and me we've got big reputations, ahh

And I heard about you, ooh

I got some big enemies

Big reputation, big reputation

Ooh you and me would be a big conversation, ahh

And you heard of me, ooh

You like the bad ones too

You're so dope, don't overdose

I'm so stoked, I need a toast

We do the most

I'm in the Ghost, like I'm whippin' a boat

I got a reputation girl, that don't precede me

I'm one call away, whenever you need me

I'm in a G5

Come to A side

I got a bad boy persona that's what they like

You love it

I love it 'cause you my type

You hold me down and I'll protect you with my life

I don't wanna touch you (I don't wanna be)

Just another ex-love (You don't wanna see)

I don't wanna miss you (I don't wanna miss you)

Like the other girls do

I don't wanna hurt you (I just wanna be)

Drinkin' on the beach with (You all over me)

I know what they all say (I know what they all say)

But I ain't tryna play

I wanna be your end game

I wanna be your first string

I wanna be your A-team

I wanna be your endgame, endgame

By the time I had finished singing the first chorus, Reed suddenly started to rap Ed Sheeran's verse.

Knew her when I was young

Reconnected when we were a little bit older

Both sprung, I've got issues and chips on both of my shoulders

Reputation precedes me, in rumours I'm knee deep

The truth is it's easy to ignore it, believe me

Even when we'd argue, we don't for long

And you understand the good and bad, end up in the song

And for all your beautiful traits, and the way you do it with ease

For all my flaws, paranoia, and insecurities

I've made mistakes, and some choices that are hard to deny

After the storm, something was born on the fourth of July

I've passed days without fun, this endgame is the one

With four words on the tip of my tongue, I'll never say

I don't wanna touch you (I don't wanna be)

Just another ex-love (You don't wanna see)

I don't wanna miss you (I don't wanna miss you)

Like the other girls do

I don't want to hurt you (I just wanna be)

Drinkin' on the beach with (You all over me)

I know what they all say (I know what they all say)

But I ain't tryna play

I wanna be your endgame

I wanna be your first string

I wanna be your A-team

I wanna be your endgame, endgame

Big reputation, big reputation

Ooh, you and me we got big reputations, ahh

And you heard about me, ooh

I've got some big enemies

Big reputation, big reputation

Ooh, you and me would be a big conversation, ahh

And I heard about you, ooh

You like the bad ones too

I pointed an invisible gun at him, pulling the trigger. Reed played dead for a moment, but soon kept nodding his head to the beat. His hands lightly tapped the staring wheel as I continued to sing until my heart was content.

I hit you like bang

We tried to deny it, but we just couldn't

And I bury hatchets but I keep maps of where I put 'em

Reputation precedes me, they told you I'm crazy

I swear I don't love the drama, it loves me

But I can't let you go, your hand print's on my soul

It's like your eyes are liquor, and your body is gold

You've been calling my bluff on all my usual tricks

So here's the truth from my red lips

I blew him a kiss, which he immediately took and sealed it inside his heart. I simply rolled my eyes and screamed out of the widow. Half of my body was outside of the car, hands in the air, and my hair was caught in the wind.

I wanna be your endgame

I wanna be your first string

I wanna be your A-team

I wanna be your endgame, endgame

I wanna be your endgame

I wanna be your first string

I wanna be your A-team

I wanna be your endgame, endgame

~°•°~

The car stopped in front of a lake. Reed switched off the car, but the lights remained on. I looked at Reed. He looked at me.

"What is this?" I pointed towards the lake. Small appearances of mist began to cover around the car.

"We're going to go dipping." He started to take off his white Adidas shoes.

My hands moved faster than my mouth, blocking his fingers from zipping down his jean pants. Reed raised his left eyebrow, looking at me, then looked at where my hands were. I immediately pulled away, avoiding to look him in his eyes.

"Are you going to join me or not?" I slowly turned around, finding a half naked Reed West.

"It's cold outside."

"The water is much warmer."

"I--I..."

He smirked. "Please don't tell me that you're going to use the whole, 'I don't have any swimwear on me' excuse."

I pursed my lips, trying to come up with a better excuse. No luck. Suddenly, Mathew's words rang in my head. 'What have you got to lose?'

I sighed. My hands went under Reed's hoodie and I had managed to swiftly pull it off from my body. Shivering for a moment, I ignored the feeling and continued to remove me shoes. After I had made my hair into a messy bun, I faced Reed, surprised to see a weird look on his face. Astonishment, maybe?

"What?" I shrugged.

He took off his T-shirt and opened the door. "Come on already." I obeyed, opening my door as well.

With only his black boxers on, Reed dived in. "How smooth." I mumbled, ignoring how well he was good at the the things he did.

I slowly walked towards the lake, debating the outcomes of getting splashed with water.

A pair of hands grabbed my waist from behind, not preparing me for the impact that I was going to receive. Cold. My body immediately reached the surface, hoping to breathe normally again.

I wanted to attack him, but my first instint was to warm myself up. "What the dumpster? Reed!" I angrily splashed him with water, but gritted my teeth after doing so.

"You see, that wasn't so bad, was it?" He laughed, shielding himself from my water attacks. I angrily walked towards him, rapidly throwing punches at his bare chest.

Reed seemed to had let me have my fun, before grabbing a hold of my fists in his one hand. I admitted defeat with a deep sigh, surrendering, as I used the remaining energy in my body's system to look up at him as he stared down at me, quite intensely.

"I--I..." His expression became softer. I mentally smacked my forehead for allowing myself to be stupid yet again.

Without hesitation, Reed threw me on his left shoulder, before diving in once again. I didn't suck in a breath, water was invading my lungs, brutally. In simple words... I was going to die.

"Reed." I barely whispered before my eyes had shut down.

I could hear splashes coming towards me. "Mystery girl?" A loud voice echoed throughout the entire lake.

"Mystery girl?!"

I tried to reach out with my hand, but all I could see was darkness.

It only took a second for Reed to pull me out of the water. He panicked, furiously shaking me.

"Wake up!" He screamed.

I coughed, opening my eyes. Reed sighed in relief, before I jumped on him, drowning him.

Kaitlyn - 1 Reed - 0

Reed immediately resurfaced from underwater. He slowly wiped his eyes and gave me a hard look.

"Was that all a prank?" Reed questioned. I smirked, nodding my head in response.

His hands held both of my arms. "Are you crazy?" He frustratedly shook me before suddenly embracing me in a tight hug.

I felt guilty. My arms went around his waist and returned his embrace. Reed's right hand lifted up my chin to face him.

"Please promise me that you'll never pull a stunt like that again, okay? "

"I promise."

Bazzi's song, Paradise began to play in the car's stereo.

He sighed, his fingers putting my wet brown locks in place as I leaned in towards his relaxing touch. Reed caressed my left cheek, then cupped my right cheek.

Oh shit. I knew what would come after this.

He froze for a moment, cringing before letting go of me. I was immediately taken a back.

Wasn't this the part when you kissed me and I would resist, but end up kissing you back?

"We should head back." Was the only thing Reed said before deserting me in the lake, making me feel confused.

I caught up with him when we were by the car. "What just happened?"

He tossed me a towel. "I didn't kiss you. No big deal."

"What do you mean by no big deal?" I frowned, disappointed that he didn't kiss me yet again.

"Can we not talk about it? Get in, I'm taking you home."

I was beyond angry. My questions were not being answered. My feet took me over to the driver's side, where his was standing. I took the door handle and closed the door.

Reed seemed surprised by my actions. His eyes went wide for a moment, before crossing his arms. "What's bothering you?"

"You. You're bothering me." I pointed out. He heavily enhaled.

"How?"

I lowly grumbled, and began to walk away from him. Reed gripped my arm, stopping me from moving.

"What is it that you want from me?" He looked at me dead in the eye.

I hesitated to speak.

"You'retheonewhokissedmefirstandnowyouhavetherighttoaskmewhyI'msodamnfurious?!"

I calmed down and tried to jerk off from his touch, but he wouldn't let go of me.

"Look Reed, I ate brownies, swam twice, and danced till I dropped. Point is, I'm tired and I wanna g--"

I was caught off guard.

Reed grabbed the back of my neck and pulled me in for hard kiss. I had almost stumbled from the impact, but he pushed my waist towards his own.

I returned his kisses, trying to matching his pace. We both panted, forehead against forehead and I began to laugh.

"Let's try that again, shall we?"

Nodding, I leaned in first, closing the distance between us.

The kiss started off slow, with his right hand cupping my left cheek. I stood on the tip of my toes, gripping both of his arms. Reed turned us, and my back was against the car.

One thing led to another, his hands went under my ass and lifted me on the car. Reed got in between my legs, and smirked while pressing me down against his Jeep. I grabbed his face with both of my hands, pulling him down with me.

As we continued to make out, his hands travelled down and roamed my body like no one had ever before. I arched my back, moaning between each kiss we gave to each other.

His lips moved towards my neck, giving it attention whilst I gripped his bare back. Reed licked, nibbled and sucked as I continued to moan in pleasure.

He bit my right ear as well, before moving downwards to my stomach, giving it light kisses while squeezing my waist. A rush of shivers managed to escape my body as he sucked on my flesh.

The only supporting object I could hold onto was his wet hair and left shoulder. My nails dug deep into his skin with each action he made on my body.

Oh God, how I wish some nights lasted forever…
