Tonight hit a 360 degree toll on me.
The Little Mermaid had just finished performing as an opener for the club and soon join me at the VIP lounge. Ariel had me dancing for almost an hour before I made a quick stop for the restroom.
On my way out my phone began to ring from my hand with Reed's name on the caller ID.
I stood still, briefly debating whether it was a good call to answer as it could simply be important, but as my thumb slid towards the accept button it had already been a missed call. I waited for a good five minutes and he didn't call again.
Oh well.
Steadily passing by a mob of intoxicated strangers I was a few feet away from our table when a ping altered me that I had just received a text message.
I know that reaching out makes things a lot more complicated, but I recently got word of something that doesn't make sense. Hailey coming back isn't a coincidence, Kaitlyn. Apparently Owen told her about you. ~Reed
