"I have a function to attend tomorrow!", Lucas said, suddenly breaking the silence in the room which had turned tranquil. He smiled as Audrey traced the bulging veins on his hand.
Turning to face him, Audrey said with a smile, " What kind of function?, like a party or a conference!?", "Well, it's more like a very boring party where all we do is talk!", Lucas said, shaking his head.
"Why do you sound so sad then, you aren't required to do too much?", " It's because the air is usually suffocating, to be honest,I really don't like being around them!", Lucas said.
"Why don't you come with me?", Lucas asked, " I would love to, except I can't!"Audrey said, feeling bad. "Why?!?!", Lucas said, squeezing her laps. " I promised Prisca I would come to her house for dinner tomorrow's evening!", Audrey said interlocking their fingers.
