"Seiji, we need to talk," Minghao said as he and Akira walked through Seiji's front door. Seiji looked up from his spot on the couch, frowning at them. He didn't like Minghao's tone.
"What's wrong?" Seiji asked. "Did I do something?"
"No, you didn't," Minghao said. "And that's exactly the problem."
"What do you mean?" Shaoqing asked, looking up from the wolf pup on his lap. "He's been taking care of me."
"I think your whole clan is lazy," Minghao said, sitting down and picking up a cookie from the coffee table. Seiji and Shaoqing stared at him with raised eyebrows.
"Excuse me?!" Seiji asked.
"Not the new members, of course," Minghao said. "But the Dark Clan and the Lei Clan. You guys haven't done anything at all. All you do is worry about Sora and whatever the hell he's doing. And there's more to cultivation than just your brother."
"I know that," Seiji said with a frown. "But we're not lazy. What are you talking about?"
