Seiji and Shaoqing sat together outside in the community garden Xuanji had been working in the past year. Before the battle, Shaoqing liked to help her in the garden as well. It had bloomed beautifully, but it was now all starting to wither because of the winter fastly approaching. It was still, however, a wonderful place to sit and enjoy. It's become Shaoqing's favorite spot.
"You know," Shaoqing said, causing Seiji to look at him. "I feel really bad for Xiaosi and Bohai. I can't imagine how scared they must be. I wish I could have protected their brothers. They were my responsibility, you know?"
"It was never our fault they got taken," Seiji said, shaking his head. "We could never have known! I didn't even know he got that powerful! If I would have known he wouldn't have been with my father, I wouldn't have sent you out there alone. Please, don't blame yourself. There's nothing you could have done. You did everything you could. That's what matters!"
