Shaoqing and Everett clung together tightly, crying into eachother's arms. Shaoqing was still shaken up about Seiji leaving, and now he felt even worse because it was Everett's turn to leave. No one he was close to was on his own team, so he felt a bit more clingy than usual.
"You're going to be amazing and you're going to get through this," Everett said, backing out of the hug and wiping his tears. "We'll talk everyday while we're traveling. I made sure to charge all my portable chargers I'm going to make sure you're always okay. Don't be scared, okay?"
"I'm just worried about everyone," Shaoqing said, causing Everett to give him a small smile.
"It'll be okay. We'll all make it out of this and come back here alive," Everett told him. "You'll see me very soon. And you'll definitely see Seiji. He's not going anywhere, babe. It'll be okay."
"Be safe," Shaoqing said, causing Everett to smile and press a kiss to his cheek.
