Everett was with Xiaosi and Shaoqing, helping access the school house and putting things together. Jay was working with the village children and keeping them occupied while Seiji and Bohai worked on capturing the poltergeist. It was silent inside the school house, making Everett feel a bit awkward. He could sense a small bit of hostility between the other two.
"Are you guys fighting?" Everett finally spoke up, biting his lip and glancing at the two.
"No," Shaoqing said, looking at Everett with a frown.
"Why would we be?" Xiaosi asked, causing Everett to let out a soft sigh and shake his head. Xiaosi glanced at Shaoqing, who went back to moving things around.
"You're upset with me about Seiji," Xiaosi said with a soft sigh. "I'm sorry I-"
"I'm not upset about that," Shaoqing said, looking up at him. Everett and Xiaosi noticed the distant look in his eyes. They exchanged looks before walking over to him.
