The group trudged through the rain, everyone using their sleeping bags as protection. It didn't seem to be helping much because the heavy rain had completely soaked through the material. If they weren't a couple miles away, they would have just pulled aside, especially because of the nonstop complaining from the four kids.
When they made it to the river, the complaints turned into excitement. It was a wonder the four boys didn't slip on the rocks with how much they were jumping around. The group followed Amber up a path until a cave mouth came into view. Seiji gestured for everyone to stop moving.
"Stay right here," Seiji said softly. "We don't want to scare them."
"You and Shaoqing go up first," Bohai said. "We'll follow after a few moments."
"Alright," Seiji said, looking at Shaoqing. "Ready?"
