Everett and Yongliang made their way down to the village, Everett trying to walk on his own most of the way. They wanted to go on a date, and so Yongliang found a little spot in the village. There was a summer festival going on with pop up vendors everywhere. Performances were also on every corner, whether it was someone breathing fire, or a group performing the lion dance. It was a great community, and Everett was excited to see it.
Yongliang took Everett to a vendor, where he was able to pick out a walking cane. He chose one with a dragon head, happily using it as they made their way through the crowds. It felt nice being around people again. The two of them had dressed in white and gold traditional robes that Yongliang bought the last time they were out. Yongliang was started to feel bad for making fun of Shaoqing and Seiji, because it felt so comfortable wearing them. And they reminded him of them.
