Seiji glanced at his friends as they all got closer to the demon king's kingdom. He was growing more and more anxious as they got closer. He wasn't prepared to fight yet. He didn't think he was strong enough. And he didn't think his friends were ready yet, either. But they had to go in. They had to save Everett.
He couldn't bring himself to be mad at Everett, either. Because he understood what the boy was feeling. He was wanting to prove himself to Meilin, which was completely valid. Seiji knew that Everett was strong and capable, but he also knew he was a good, brave heart. He knew Everett would never hurt anyone and he wanted to protect his friends. And that was what he was trying to prove to Meilin, despite how dangerous it was to do so.
