"Guys! I saved people!" Dongwu cried out in excitement as they made their way into Jay's cabin. Dongwu, however, was the only person wearing a giant smile on his face. Everyone else looked anxious or serious. This caused Dongwu's smile to falter as he looked around at the others.
"We saw, my love," Jay said as they all gathered around the livingroom. The Lei clan, Shihong and Jiayu looked around in wonder at all the animals that were present.
"No, they all said I was useless, but I'm not," Dongwu said with a whine, crossing his arms. "I saved the people."
"You're right, I'm sorry," Seiji said, giving him a soft back rub. "You did amazing, Dongwu. Thank you."
Dongwu gave a nod at the recognition before heading to the couch and sitting down. The smile on his face was completely gone, which made Seiji feel bad. He didn't want the boy to feel so left out. But he also knew everyone was in a grim mood. He sighed and glanced around at everyone.
