Seiji and Xiaosi made their way back up the stairs, staying close to eachother. Seiji reached out to try the knob, but it was locked. He frowned and looked over at Xiaosi. Whatever locked them down there seemed to be human. He sighed and took out a talisman, putting it to the door to try and unlock it, but nothing happened.
"What if… what if you break it?" Xiaosi suggested, causing Seiji to nod and kick the door. However, if he used any more force, he might topple down the stairs.
"Too risky," Seiji said after a little bit. "I don't want to break it with a talisman, cause the only one I have will blow up the stairs we're on as well."
"W-what now?" Xiaosi asked, his voice barely a whisper. Seiji bit his lip and looked around. He had no ideas. And he was pretty positive that the thing they were looking for was the very thing that locked them in this basement.
