The Takatori's divorce did not went smoothly. Alice refused- to cooperate and ask her parents in America for help. But Kousuke won Kenta's Custody. The divorce was predicted to end after 4-6 months according to Kousuke's lawyer. It could've gotten faster if they brought up what Alice did. But Kousuke refused to protect Kenta.
Through this process, Kenta never spoke a word to Chiyo. He is a quiet kid since before, but Kenta's action, or the lack of, seems to tell Chiyo that he's mad at her. Kousuke told Chiyo that Kenta tried to visit her at the hospital before and that Alice took advantage of it to break up them up. But even with this knowledge, Kenta still refuse to talk to Chiyo. Akihiko visited twice and tried to be friends with him(Kenta). But Kenta Ignored them. Soon, Kenta will be leaving the city with his dad to live to a different city.
It was their last meal together and Yoshikazu brought Karaage and a cake. And since, Kousuke and Kenta has been living in a hotel, The Ryugasaki's insisted that the farewell party will be held at their home. "Hime, try to appease Kenta again tonight, okay? He'll be leaving tomorrow. The two of you need to make up. We, Adults, will drink after dinner. let ketna sleep in your room again." This is the first time Yoshikazu has urge her daughter to talk to a boy. But Kenta has been through so much that he can only pray that no budding feelings will sprout with what he did. Chiyo understand the situation, being an adult inside herself. And she tried... Whenever they visit the father and son or vice versa. Kenta has never spoken a word to anyone except Kousuke and Yoshikazu. Kousuke hired a psychiatrist for Kenta to avoid the same mistake to happen again. After dinner, The adults drinks at the living room, While Chiyo and Kenta were left to play by themselves in Chiyo's room.
Chiyo is currently at the hall were the phone is and was just finished talking to Akihiko. When she look up at the stairs, She caught Kenta running to her room. And as she enter the room, she saw Kenta at the far corner of her small room, back turned at the door and he appears to be reading one of Chiyo's old fairytale books. Chiyo approached Kenta, "Aren't you going to say why are you mad at me?" Chiyo started. This time she didn't wait for Kenta to reply. "I apologize if I did anything wrong. Your father and mine wants us to be friends like them, because he believes friends are the second best thing there is after Relatives."
"...I believe it, too. But only with true friends." Chiyo paused to think. "If you really don't want to be friends, then I guess I'll leave you alone. Sorry to bother-" As Chiyo was about to turn around and go to her bed, Kenta grabbed the hem of Chiyo's clothes. Kenta finally turned and revealed a red face with a slightly teary eyes. "I want. I want to be friends... But Chiyo's already got many friends."
His hold in her dress got tighter. "...And once we leave, you'll forget me." Kenta broke down with this. Chiyo kneeled down and hug Kenta. She was about to say something when, she felt someone looking at them. She look at the door and saw two dads peaking at the door. One was with a look of doting while the other was burning with rage. "Ah, We got caught. Sorry to bother you Chiyo. Do continue, Your father and I will smoke at the balcony." Kousuke smiled, embarrassed. He drag the glaring Yoshikazu away from the door and closed the door.
"Will you still be my friend even after we moved?" Kenta asked Chiyo, Showing a pitiful faces. "That's highly likely."
"Highly likely?" Not understanding, Kenta asked. He search Chiyo's face for clue of what it means. "It means it's possible to happen. Even if I forget or you forget. as long as our family are friends then we're friends too." Chiyo explained patiently as she wipes the tears in Kenta's face. Chiyo has regarded Kenta as her child at this point. Even if she doesn't have experience in being a parent. Emily Peterson firmly believes that a child is a special existence in any worlds. She smiled at Kenta, her first real smile ever since being Reincarnated.
The next day. The Ryugasaki's bid the Takatori's farewell. Kousuke and Kenta will be moving to Kyoto, where Kousuke's parents live. According to Yoshikazu, Kousuke was a young master that used to live in a big compound at the end of Kyoto. It's also Yoshikazu's hometown but Yoshikazu's parents died a long time ago. Yoshi's old home was sold to support his education and marriage with Yumi. It is something that Yoshikazu's never regret, because he believes that his home is where his family is.
Before leaving, Kenta hugged Chiyo one last time and whispered, "I'll be back once I grew up. I'll call you everyday like that boy that always call. Wait for me, Chiyo! Bye..."
When the Takatori's left, Yoshikazu carried his princess. "What did the brat said when he whispered to you?" Yoshikazu looks calm but theirs a hint of jealousness in his voice. Chiyo just hugged her dad and distracted him with, "I love you, dad" Yoshikazu grinned, hearing this. The relationship between father and daughter has been getting better and better as time went on. Yoshikazu is happy his princess is finally opening up to them. He felt a sense of fullfiment that almost made him cry. Beside him is his queen, and in his arm, his princess. Both are a treasure in his heart. The pet names wasn't exaggerated, for in his eyes they are that. His queen and his princess.

Ryu watch his friend make another painting of a child amongst many beautiful flowers. The flowers compliments the child's innocent smile. Ryu is amazed that even if they never saw Chiyo smiled like that. Akihiko seems to be able to picture how it looks. The child in the painting is like a fairy with white and lavender kimono and a bouquet of roses, pink camellia and tulips. Ryu doesn't know flower language but he could guess that it has romantic messages, for sure. Ryu kepp quiet about it. Akihiko has been in a foul mood, lately. Painting Chiyo has been the only thing that soothes him.
