Synopsis
Hey, buddy, you okay? Oh, really, yeah, I get it, shit can hit the fan sometimes. In fact, my life has been fan-shit-hitting for a while now. Rest easy and let me tell you a story. It won't be long, I promise, but its not the happiest account either... Out of the blue, the world goes into utter mayhem. And for the first time in a while, I have a purpose in life. It's an odd synergy but it's exactly how I feel everyday, at least people will now know how it's like. But, admittedly, I take my 'passion' too far. That's all I'll say, go ahead, take a peek, a glance, let your curiosity lead you, have fun. I'll update a chapter a week, I want to make sure all of my work is coherent, conclusive, enjoyable, and fun to read. I want you to see this and groan, "Wait, that's it, now I gotta wait another seven days?" If you see any plot holes, be sure to let me know, if the dialogue is crooked or you don't understand something, please, voice your complaints. I'm all ears. Caution: I do use terms from my native language. I'll put their definitions at the end of the chapter. Just a heads up.

Chapter 1 - Look away

Hey, you, yeah, you, the one behind the screen, the reader, I need you to listen to me just this once. After this, you can go ahead and do whatever, but I want you to follow the simple instruction I'm about to give you.

Ready?

I want you to step away from the screen. Place your device down, change the tab on your computer, get off this app, put some music on, do anything, just get off this story.

Do it.

Please.

The next few paragraphs aren't worth the hassle.

Ah, but you're curious aren't you? You must be wondering why I want you to leave despite your addiction to my product is exactly what I strive for.

Do you want to know?

Alright.

It is a rather simple answer; I don't want you to be disappointed. This tale isn't going to make you happy. it isn't going to make you miss it when it ends, and you will not derive anything positive from reading this. So please, stop, turn around, eat a snack, and go enjoy life.

Well, that might be a pro; reading this won't affect you much, so don't worry about reading the last chapter and feeling hollow. Don't worry about feeling less than yourself because the protagonist is having fun in life. Don't worry about growing jealous of a guy who has it all. None of that will happen.

I'm not Shakespeare, I'm not Franz Kafka, I'm not Edgar Allen Poe, I'm not a fabulous storyteller, nor is my wordplay otherworldly, I'm just here to write. If you want to read this tragedy, fine, do it, but I hope you don't.

I made this from misery, I made this from degeneracy; this is a product of unhappiness.

I plead with you.

Please.

Look away.
