Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

Clyde followed the goblin that headed to the forest first. He quickly and quietly followed the Goblin, keeping a safe distance behind him.

When the goblin reached a great distance from the other goblin, Clyde scanned the area to ensure no goblins are nearby when he launched his attack.

He came up behind the goblin swiftly, Clyde uses his Flame bind to tie the goblin down Surprised by the attack the goblin is hit by the spell.

The goblin let out a loud cry, but it was already too late, its struggles to escape were futile. It tried with all its might to break free, but the bindings were too strong. As it struggled, Clyde prepared his second attack. He summoned three consecutive fireballs and launched them at the goblin with precision. The goblin tried its hardest to escape the binding, but the fireballs already arrive, and it was hit with full force. The goblin let out a final cry as the fireballs hit, and its health points reached zero. The goblin's body lay motionless on the ground, defeated by Clyde.

[Ding! +10 Skill points]

Clyde has already activated the system which automatically converts the stats gained from defeating the goblin into skill points. He now has skill points available in his system that he can use to improve his abilities.

"I should improve my skills before leveling up. The stronger my skills are, the easier it will be for me to hunt goblins." Clyde muttered to himself. "I should hunt the other goblin who went in the opposite direction"

Clyde followed the path he had taken earlier and arrived at the cave where the second goblin had gone. He carefully scanned the entire cave but decided not to enter. He thought to himself, "This cave is too dangerous to enter. I don't know what's inside, there could be traps or powerful monsters waiting for me."

He realized that entering the cave unprepared would be a great risk and he need to prepare more and increase his strength before he enters the cave.

"I should hunt other goblins who are near this area, and hunt the goblins who are alone, as it might be safer." Clyde thought.

He decided to explore the forest and hunt level 1 goblin one by one. He moved stealthily through the forest, keeping a watchful eye for any sign of goblins.

As he walked deeper into the forest, he came across a single goblin resting in an area. He quickly cast his spell, "Flame Bind" to immobilize the goblin, and then quickly followed it up with a "Fire Ball" spell, hitting the goblin with a powerful blast of fire. The goblin let out a cry as it was engulfed in flames. It struggled to break free, but the bindings were too strong, and the fire too intense. The goblin's health points quickly reached zero and it fell to the ground, defeated.

Resting in between to recover some mana, Clyde repeated this process, hunting goblin one by one, using his flame bind and fireball combo. He was able to take down goblin after goblin, gaining valuable skill points. He was careful not to engage multiple goblins at the same time, as it would be too dangerous. He was focused on hunting goblins one by one, to level up.

As the day came to an end, Clyde knows that it was increasingly dangerous to stay in the dungeon at night. He knew that it was best to leave and come back the next day. He began to search for a safe spot to summon the portal. He found a small clearing that was hidden by tall bushes and trees, it was the perfect spot to summon the portal.

He sat down on the ground, closed his eyes, and began to focus his energy. He started to chant an incantation, holding his hands up in front of him. Slowly, a bright light began to form in front of him, it grew bigger and bigger until it was large enough for him to step through. The portal was now open, and he stepped through it, returning to the real world.

As he emerged from the portal, he took a deep breath and looked around. He was back in the city, and he knew that he had a lot to do before his next trip to the dungeon. He took note of the time and decided to head home, he knew that he needs to rest and prepare for his next adventure in the dungeon tomorrow.

In a room at the top of the Evirille building, a man can be seen sitting at his desk, with another man kneeling in front of him. The man at the desk speaks up, "Butler Wang, please report to me what my son did today."

The man kneeling responded, "Master, the young master chose his skills at the skill hall and then immediately left to go to a dungeon. It is the Goblin Hive located in the southern part of the city."

Clyde's father thought for a moment and then replied, "Hmmm, this dungeon is not too difficult or too easy. It is a good place to grind levels as the goblins there tend to hunt alone. However, if one is not careful, they may encounter high-level goblins who are patrolling the area, which could become dangerous." Clyde's father then continued, "Butler Wang, make sure to keep an eye on my son's safety. I don't want him to get into any trouble. And also make sure to inform me if he encounters any difficulty."

Butler Wang replied, "Yes, Master. I will make sure to keep a close watch on the young master and report to you immediately if there are any issues."

Clyde's father nodded and dismissed the man kneeling. He then leaned back in his chair, deep in thought.

Outside the Evirille building, Clyde arrives, without interacting with other people. He heads straight to his room, where he wants to rest and recover his strength. His mana has been depleted, and he needs some time to replenish it. He also wants to review his gains from the day, to see what he had accomplished.

I should be able to gain at least twice or more experience points." He was confident that his improved skills would allow him to defeat more powerful monsters. He could not wait to test his abilities and see the results.

Clyde, after organizing his thoughts, called for dinner to be brought to his room. A short while later, a knock came at his door and a tray of food was brought in by a servant. Clyde sat at his desk and began to eat, savoring the flavors of the meal.

After finishing his dinner, he went to take a bath. He washed away the sweat and dirt from his body, feeling refreshed as he emerged from the bath. He then returned to his room, put on his pajamas, and climbed into bed.

As he lay in bed, he thought about his adventures in the dungeon, the experience, and the points he had obtained. He felt satisfied with what he had accomplished today and was eager for the next day's grind. With that thought, he closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.

The next morning, Clyde woke up feeling refreshed and energized. He got out of bed and stretched, feeling ready for another day of adventure in the dungeon. After getting dressed, he went to request some breakfast to be delivered. He was served a delicious meal of eggs, bacon, and toast, along with a cup of hot milk. He ate quickly, eager to get back to the dungeon.

Once he finished his breakfast, he immediately headed out of the building. He made his way to the southern part of the city, where the goblin hive was located. As he walked, he could feel the excitement building inside of him, knowing that he was about to enter the dungeon again.

He arrived at the entrance to the dungeon and stepped inside. He was instantly transported to another dimension; the same forest he was in yesterday. He scanned the area and saw that the sun was just starting to rise, casting a warm glow on the forest. He took a deep breath and smiled, knowing that another day of adventure was about to begin.

With his improved skills, he was ready to face whatever challenges the dungeon had in store for him. He moved deeper into the forest, eager to hunt goblins and level up his skills.
