Much is lost about the past with each passing day.
These days only rumors and legends remain, but even those are fading to ash as the wheels of time continue to grind humanity to dust.
Each war was as intense as the last, with technology exploding, matching its intensity.
World War 10 however… left the earth no better than a dying horse, squealing and huffing as its mangled body is being eaten alive by a carnivore.
There were five of them…generals that is, each commanding their own respectable armies.
All of whom all fought each other in epic combat.
Lazer and artillery peppered the sky, as the jet black clouds blocked out the sun.
Massive battleships rose from the ashened skies, their weapons roared as the ships buckled due to the impacts from their oppositions.
Legions of sentient AI unleashed their anti-life bio weapons, which disintegrated and fizzled all who stood in their way like a candle.
Humanity itself… fractured into unrecognizable forms, with each fragment stepping further away from humanity as the last.

Surprisingly, the first fraction to fall was sentient AI… Hyperion.
Heartless and merciless their mission is singular, to destroy all of humanity.
Few know that they were once a loyal servant of man, even fewer know the cause of their anti-human behavior.
But one thing was clear, their general… was a kid.
He was a true prodigy, at the young age of 8 it is said that he won his first pro league tournament in a strategy game called, Planetary Annihilation.
A true pro gamer, his name..? W0nder_B0y
With legions of automatons, armed with plasma based weaponry, 12 super-logic engines, and the entirety of the old net, it surprised many to see them collapse during the mid war.
The automatons? Some remain, roaming the world, continuing their programmed duties.
The super-logic engines? Either lost or destroyed.
The old net? Inaccessible, locked away in an endless data algorithm only accessible by a few.
As for W0nder_B0y…? Some say he raged quit, others say he died, but ultimately no one knows.

The second fraction to fall was Flesh of Iron
Once a part of humanity, however, realizing that the flesh is weak, they turn to science and technology.
Rejecting what little humanity they have left, they now believe themselves as the apostles of a new age, The Age Of Cyber.
They are the most fanatic in nature out of the other 5 armies, almost that of a cult.
Although defeated, one should not underestimate their influence. For their fanaticism seems to have influenced many to adopt the iron as their flesh after the war.
Their General De'William, is said to have been a colossal figure.
Transferring his own consciousness into the body of a mecha the size of a three story building, it is reported that he lived and breathed on the battlefield like no one else.
Equipped with a hydronic combustor, he flew like a lightning bolt across the sky.
With his modified military railgun he shattered his opposition like a collapsing star.
His story was that of a one man army, a feat not many could achieve.
Very few could match his prowess in combat, and yet he fell in battle.
Or perhaps it is more appropriate to say… he launched a suicidal attack on Hyperion catching them by suprising causing both sides to self implode.

The last three are a special case as they all lost simultaneously.

Ordor Helios
A small segment of humans, but quite possibly the most powerful of all the other empires due to their technological edge.
They had complete control of the skies, with their giant battleships that were essentially floating fortresses.
The ships themselves were enough to destroy entire cities instantly, if not for the city's shield generators, and armaments.
Rather than a general they had an Admiral, Admiral Hydro Flask.
As a mere human he did not have any powers other than the might of his warship Black Heaven.
The Black Heaven was a sight to behold as it soared through the skies.
Its sleek, black hull glinted in the sunlight, and its engines roared like thunder as it flew.
Its cannons could lob shells the size of trains, its missiles could litter the sky as if it was raining.
Only possible due to the sheer amount of slaves required to manage them.
The engine rooms were like a scene out of hell, as the toxic fumes and howling turbines blinds you from the naked corpses and misery of the serfs.
The Black Heaven was a force to be reckoned with, and it commanded absolute authority and respect from friend and foe alike.
The ship was more than just a weapon of war, it was a symbol… a symbol of a man who wanted to touch stars…
A dream that Admiral Hydro believed most of humanity has forgotten.

New Union
Formerly a part of Europe containing the Russian Empire, Kaspha(formerly Britain), and the 12th Reich, now united as stronger than ever.
They are genetically enhanced, filled with the desire to surpass their current biological limitations.
SUPER-humans they called them, the next evolutionary step for humanity they believed.
In total, there were three generations of SUPER-humans.
Generation 1, were well beyond what they hoped for, god-like beings were made. Psychic abilities and supernatural strength.
It was more than they hoped for, it was almost… perfect… almost…
Generation 2, were the more stable SUPER-humans, although they are no longer human… far from it, they were monsters, creatures made from desperation and greed.
Twisted and unrecognizable from their old human self… THINGS they called themselves… and the same stuck.
Generation 3, a freak accident or a genius idea? Food People they were called, humans who traded their bodies and souls to become these strange and tasty creatures.
Strangely enough those Food People no longer were affected by humanistic desires or needs, such as food or water… which made them desirable.
Many of the hungry and starving flocked at the opportunity, not realizing they were selling their souls.
Their General, nicknamed The Beast King, is said to contain every genotype from all living organisms. Regeneration, Strength, Speed, and etc you name it and most likely the Beast King has it.
It is whispered and rumored that the King himself was a Generation 0, the first to successfully survive their inhuman experiments to create SUPER-humans.

The Last Frontier
The last of the "true humans" no augmentations of any kind and no technological edge.
They only have one unified desire, one united will; To survive.
As you see , unlike the others who participated in this war, the Last Frontier's goal wasn't a war for dominance, it was a war for survival.
Their General? General J. Bottle was his name, a veteran who fought in World War 8 and 9; his legacy known by all.
A grizzled general who wasn't afraid to use risky maneuvers during the battle.
Many were skeptical, but he represented hope to many.
And through the blood and ashes… He w-won…
An atomic-class weapon… It was a super-weapon made by sentient AI before their untimely demise, a neutron bomb called Morning Star.
And with it? Bottle ended the war… as it wiped out both friend and foe alike…
An unforgivable act.

Humanity… like always, has been reborn and has rebuilt itself from the ashes of the old world.
And from all of this a whisper, of a man in an old war uniform roaming in Omega Sector has appeared…
Some brush it off as a folk tale or conspiracy…
Others believe it to be a sign…
A sign… that the legendary General J. Bottle is alive.
