After a bumpy journey, a C47 finally came to a steady halt in the middle of the runway at Anpu's military airport. The cabin door opened, and two people dressed in the uniform of major generals, carrying briefcases and holding their hats, descended the gangway.
"Welcome, both of you!" Luff said with a smile to the newcomers.
The guards on either side stood to attention and saluted, holding their Mauser 98K rifles in front of their noses. The two major generals returned the salute and then followed Luff to a campsite filled with radio antennas.
The campsite was right next to the airport, and one could see Bofors anti-aircraft guns erected nearby. Cars were parked everywhere, with Rolls-Royces not being uncommon.
"His Majesty is in the base. Now that you two have returned safely, I have someone I can use here," Luff said as he led the way.
