Chapter 52 - DIEGO JUNIOR

"Grandmother, you are not looking happy. What is the problem?" Venom asked

"Drop the corpse and turn around all of you." She ordered.

"Speak to us grandmother. Is there something we did not do right?" He asked again.

"I warned you all not to murder the boys mother." She sparked her anger on the ruffians.

"But grandmother we all thought this is over." He thundered angrily.

"You dare not raise your voice against me or I will strike you down at once. I warned you not to murder the boys mother or there would be consequences." She cautioned.

"Grandmother we are sorry. We went there with the intension of getting away with the boy but the mother's ruthless pursuit of us angered Venom to why he shot her to dead." Another ruffian defended his boss pleadfully.

"The spirit of Diego and that of his wife torments me day and night. They have kept coming in demand for their son who is stubborn and have refused to adapt to the training I am giving him." She explained.

"But grandmother what sort of a stubborn child is this? He has been a headache ever since he walked into this place. I suggest we kill him and make provision for another son for you mother." Venom yelled heading to the hut to fetch him.

"And where are you going to?" She asked.

"To lay hold of him mother." Venom responded angrily.

"He has escaped again. You are too blind to see. That is him running over there." She responded pointing her finger to nowhere.

"Follow this direction." She instructed and some of the men ran to fetch the boy meanwhile the rest stood guard over the corpse they brought for sacrifice.

Moment later, they were seen bringing upon their shoulder a deer.

"Mother, we have the boy with us." They said.

"And where is he?" She asked.

"What is his that you bring? I can still see the young one running over there. You bring me a deer!" She cried out and watched as the men dazzled when they dropped that which was on their shoulders and saw by themselves that it was a deer.

"I asked you all to fetch me the boy and you went hunting after deers." She thundered in burning anger.

"What? Mother this is unbelievable. We know we ran after the boy and carried him." They screamed.

"You should have known that he is a witch with great potentials of becoming more mightier than me." She tutored and disappeared.

As she flew towards the direction of Diego Junior, she saw a man appeared and stood on her way.

"What do you want from me?" She asked ready to fight off the spirit.

"I am the great grandfather of the boy you are pursuing. Go back and leave him alone." The spirit demanded.

"No! I cannot return. The boy belong to me. I have fed him with my food and have trained him with my powers. He must accomplish his mission under me." She stood firm.

"Then prepare to join me in the world beyond." The spirit warned and at once grass flipped from the ground and slit her throat.

She fell down at once and her blood watered the soil.

Then as I watched, I saw the spirit changed into a mighty angel of the Lord and flew to where Diego Junior was running in the thick forest.

With this encounter, I knew why he was kidnapped in the first instance so as to be nurtured by the witch - the ruffians' grandmother.

Back home, Apostle Aondofa Daniel could be found panting heavily as he woke out of his stressful sleep.

"What is it daddy?" Pamela awakened by him sat up and inquired anxiously.

"I just had a stressful dream." He responded.

"I was in my captivity as at the time I was kidnapped by Diego and his men.

After that, I saw his son running fiercely in a forest all alone."

"You haven't tell me about this." She said and the Lord's Apostle narrated briefly what happened during his kidnapped.

He told her the request Diego made about his son who was later kidnapped and the mother killed.

"Daddy," She called out.

"I believe the boy is still alive and needs our prayers at this moment. Please let's pray."

The two then knelt and prayed fervently before retiring back to bed again.
