Chapter 1 - LADY ON THE SKETCH

"Apostle! You know all these girls, most of them have their eyes on you. Come man, you have to make a selection!"

"Make a selection? Did I just hear you say make a selection, Simon? It's no longer about seeking for God's will for whom to marry and is now about making a selection?" Victor quarried

"Come on Victor!" Apostle Aondofa Daniel yelled coming out from the bedroom as he struggled to fix his tie properly.

I don't want to bother with my relationship lectures here. After all we have a seminar right before us to deliberate and learn somethings there." He pleaded and walked back to the shelve to collect his polished Italian leather shoes.

The much awaited seminar was finally going to take place on that very day. It would witness people, most especially young maidens and men turn up from every environ for it.

"Please guys! We are running out of time. Let's hurry and meet up with the worship session." Apostle Aondofa Daniel pleaded gathering his two other friends; victor and Simon as they prayed together fervently for what would become the relationship seminar talk of the city.

After prayer, the two stormed out into apostle Aondofa Daniel's car and he drove off for the ministry ground where they met a teaming and boisterous crowd of both the married and the unmarried, singles and families matching in groups and in a haste for the meeting.

Marveled by this, apostle Daniel drove into the parking route and parked, bowed his head over the steering and the three of them gave great glory to God for what he was doing in the ministry.

The third anniversary of the young but fast growing ministry was just Celebrated three Sundays away.

It beat the imagination of everyone that the great things happening were happening on a fast pace.

The prayer was now for the Lord to preserve the ministry not to go into error but lay a solid foundation that would have it stabilized.

Apostle Aondofa Daniel was a young minister of God holding to his record an age of 23. He begun his Ministry; "Revival city ministry" three years away immediately he rounded up with his degree program in Zion Bible institute; a reputable theology training center that had birthed other great ministers of God around the globe.

In physique, apostle Aondofa Daniel was such an admiration to every gender most especially those of the opposite sex;

Tall, muscular and had a blend of a chocolate complexion which he stole from his mother and added to his. Not just that, he also escaped her womb with a little gap teeth such as hers. This owes to why he was loved even the more anytime he smiled. His pointed nose was something that ladies had have sleepless nights over, pleading with Yaweh to speak to his son on their behalves.

The young apostle had a burning love for smartness, neat appearance and humor. This outstanding quality made him a testament of desire for the female gender and envy for the male gender.

In term of smartness, apostle Aondofa Daniel was the intellectsia as he was fondly called. This wasn't to mock his inadequacies but to worth his outstanding output to knowledge and intelligence.

At age 23, the young apostle was seemed to have all the wiring for greatness - intelligence not lacking behind; a great writer, relationship coach and counselor, the suspicious young apostle was just blessed by his maker.

In term of ministry, he was known as the apostle of revival among all and called fire blazer, reformer and the apostle of words.

With all these distinguished qualities, what more could a man own. Apostle Aondofa Daniel was just the man blessed by God.

But as the golden fish would attract the most of fishermen coming after her, apostle Daniel, unmarried was a hunt for many young maidens.

If the ladies would be allowed to pay his bride price instead of the other way round, they would team up to compete for the biggest bid.

It was not truly to his taste to marry at the time but the elders of his church, family members and friends were on him;

"Man of God! You need to settle down so that all attention can be taken away from you to warrant you focus." They would say.

"But I have not complained that I'm becoming distracted and loosing focus. I have had it bitter with relationships. At this time I just want to focus on the ministry until it grows to shape..."

"And that's the same thing we are talking about." An elder cut in

"The ministry won't come of shape as long as you remain unmarried. We are elders with experience. With time, you will understand with us in the direction we are speaking." The elders summited to him in one of the meetings.

His mentor and spiritual father was on the same page. The difference was that he would always tell him to pray for the right one and marry only the will of God, a teaching that never at anytime settled with the apostle.

His believe was for a man to find a wife and present her to the Lord for marriage. He had a struggle for having to fast and pray for what was known as the will of God for marriage. If that be the case, then the scripture where man is commanded to find his wife would be annulled - his thinking

Well, after much thoughts, he put it to good time to find a suitable partner that would hold his hand in the ministry.

His diary had already been informed of the wife to expect; tall preferably or of average height, must be smart and beautiful with good body physique.

One of the days, his friend Victor came visiting and mate him sketching a lady in his jotter.

Victor knew him to be a talented artist with good drawing skills but why drawing a lady in your diary?" He asked collecting the diary to have a look.

Apostle Aondofa Daniel hesitated but couldn't fight it and let go. When Victor saw it clearly, he broke out laughing hard

"Wow! She is beautiful man of God. Is this the woman you want to marry?" Victor asked mocking and apostle Aondofa nodded his head looking off.

"But why is the chest and back so heavy with a slim body?" Victor asked again laughing.

"That's the kind of lady I'm trusting the Lord to marry. I already have vision of her and I know what I want, so I want to be specific on what to expect from the Lord." He responded trying to blend in with Victor's ideology.

"Kai! Daniel you too like good things. I know if Simon was here, he would have joined you in painting the drawing, but of a truth Daniel, why don't you wait on God to give you who he wills, the person may not even have this features but be a perfect match for you if she's from God..."

"Mm, mm, Victor, on this issue let's lay it off. I don't want us to argue about this today. For God's sake I know what I want, or is it you that want to get married for me? I know what I want and as I create the picture, God will surely do as it is in my heart.

See, let me tell you something, as a minister of God, you have to be selective when it comes to making a choice marritally. You need to marry a lady that is presentable, good looking, has a sense of influence and is on fire for God at the same time.

If Gloria hadn't misbehaved, we would have been married by now -- I don't want to talk about her." He paused then graped the book from Victor and closed it.

"Well, Daniel as you said, you know what you want and I can't force you against what I feel is the right thing to do. After all, you are a man of God." Victor surrendered and the two spent some times before departing.

When Victor departed, Apostle Aondofa Daniel brought out his drawing equipments and began to paint. It took two more hours and the painting was perfectly into shape;

A fair skin tall figure with full chest and back. Her large bosom sloped steadily and stocked out, creating a sensational balance on the chest. Her Tommy flat, the waist descending into a perfect formation with round sloppy thighs giving her back great curves of flesh, exactly as the apostle dreamed of it.

"Wait, is it a goddess you want to marry?" his heart spoke to him and he laughed with himself fallen back into the cushion. "Apostle you too like good things." The words of Victor echoed and he smiled broadly.

It was time to attend to the qualities.

He numbered them in his head and began to write

1. must be on fire for God - highly important 2. Must be intelligent and smart 3. Must be a degree holder 4. Must have good sense of handling ministerial responsibilities. 5. Must be fair 6. must have great body physique 7. Must be beautiful in general.

He lay off his thought carefully if he was missing something but from what he could tell, everything was in place for the woman he dreamed to marry, then he remembered and added number 8 and 9; must be romantic and must know how to cook.

Satisfied, he took his diary and walked hopefully into his room and fell on his bed - "Time to dream about this damsel." He said with passion and shot his eyes.
