Nil awoke after a quick nap. Normally cultivators do not need naps, but for him personally, it was an opportunity to relax.
Before killing this examiner, he had examined him thoroughly. Finding out his daily activities, habits, and even eating behaviors. He was thorough that if anyone investigated, they would only look like a fool for doubting him. This is how he operated.
The first duty that he needed to make progress on was to go teach his disciple. Thankfully, from what was observed, these two were not close. More often than not, Jin's disciple was just handed a few cultivation manuals and told to discern what to do with them. He didn't spend the time to even see if it was one that would assist him in combat or a break through based on his physique.
This cultivation sect that Nil was currently forcefully inhabiting wasn't a rich one by far. In fact, this cultivation sect only had access to the (Mid-Tier) Breathing Technique - Ancient Condenser. This was not a powerful cultivation technique, nor did it have a good name. That's because it was named by the sect leader himself.
Nil sighed at the thought of the future turmoil to come as he already knew that this sect was also scheduled to participate in an upcoming tournament. Every year, this sect placed amongst the last.
As Nil was thinking about this he looked up to realize that he already made it to the designated meeting point with his disciple. Well, Jin's disciple.
"Master, I greet you." A bald shirtless fat man with looks that could make one want to burn their retinas stepped out of the bushes and kneeled down on one knee. He then closed his eyes and awaited a reply.
'Disgusting.' Nil thought as he glared at the blob in front of him. Initially when Nil was doing his research on Jin and his disciple he had thought that this man was a bandit that somehow snuck in or Jin was doing some shady dealings. Nope, it's just his disciple.
"You may rise. Master accepts your greetings, disciple." Nil spoke aloud, gesturing for his disciple to stand up.
The disciple attempted to get up quickly but stumbled in this attempt due to his weight. He dusted himself off after he secured himself in place.
Nil sighed and activated Qi into his eyes. The body of the disciple transformed into blue pathways that were around his entire body that led to a large ball in the disciple's stomach. Nil then deactivated the Qi.
'Average talent.. The only thing he has going for him is his ability to store Qi as fat.. Though I wouldn't be happy if I had that ability to be honest.'
"What would you like to learn today disciple?" Nil sighed and spoke.
"Well.. Master before that, I was wondering if I could make a request?" The fat man stated.
"Request?" Nil entertained his thought instead of denying him right away.
"I was wondering Master.." The fat man pressed his fingers tip together as he slowly began to become embarrassed.
"What do you want disciple? You're beginning to make me feel uncomfortable." Nil replied hoping for this 'event' to be over.
"Well that woman you always bring over.. I was wanting to see if I could spend some time with her... alone.." The fat man said as he attempted to hide his face.
Nil face palmed as he glared at the fat man between his finger tips. "Disciple, you can't be serious. You are only in the Qi Refining stage 4 and you want to speak alone with an older lady who is already in the Foundation Establishment stage? DO YOU WANT TO DIE?"
The fat disciple shook his head and ran away at this point, feeling scared and embarrassed.
The lady that the disciple was referring to is a sect elder. The 'meetings' he was referring to with Jin were simply meetings to discuss future recruitments for the sect. Ah, and if you were wondering, Jin's cultivation before he died was Qi Refining stage 1. (10-->1 --> Foundation Establishment). He had always been on the cusp of breaking through, but found great difficult without help from a Foundation Pill. The sect was unfortunately not rich enough to have any.
Nil walked away from the area after successfully dealing with this annoying disciple and began to get ready for his next duty. He relished the moment that he could be free from these menial tasks that he felt no connection to. But he needed this identity, for his next plan.
