YOU STABBED ME🗡️

She began to pout the moment he went into his dressing room to search for clothes to wear -she was sure. She hated him. She really hated him. How could she be jealous of him being with other ladies? He was wrong! But yet he was right and she definitely knew. She was indeed jealous and she knew why. It was simply because she had begun to fall for him, her captor the beast and it had been so hard and fast. She knew not what had brought about this feeling. But, humans had no say in matters of the heart. The heart decided who to love, not her. She was entirely helpless in that department, altogether completely unable to do a thing about it. And how maddening did such make her feel? She felt so mad that she could actually move a huge mountain with that aggression. She looked down at the muscles of her hands. It didn't seem enough. But, she really felt that she could do such. She smiled to herself at her stupid unrealistic suggestion. She felt much better after smiling. Mayhap, once in a while she should amuse herself.

Anyways, he just informed her that he was leaving for somewhere. Where on earth was he leaving her and going off to? He said it wasn't far away. Maybe he was going there regarding the matters of the state. But, why wouldn't he take her with him then? Was it because it was supposed to be an official matter? Or was it because he couldn't take his prisoner out of his territory? Yes, she had actually forgotten, like apparently totally forgotten that she was a prisoner to him, a very privileged captive. His extreme niceness had almost gotten her situation out of her head. God! This beast, he was the master of manipulation, both physically, emotionally, mentally in all ramifications. How dense was she to fall for such a person? Oh Lord! She was really sick in the head. She was gradually getting angry. She matched towards his dressing room to confront him. He wasn't about to escape from her upcoming confrontation no matter what. But, everything she had planned to say earlier in the bedroom evaporated from her head the moment she stepped through the doors of his dressing room, including her anger.

The first thought that came to her mind the moment she walked in on him standing there getting dressed was "Oh what a wonderful sight!" She stopped in her tracks and concentrated on staring him down, hard with feminine admiration. Oh who would not fall for such temptation. No one, absolutely no one. She was well assured of that for at the moment he seemed like the most pretty thing on earth. He had apparently had a quick cold bath by the look of things in the short time that she had wasted away thinking of moving a huge mountain with her aggression. He was wrapped in only a small white cloth which hung from around the waist down only. She willed herself to turn around and leave as quietly as she came. Her mind was in on it, but her body just wouldn't move. And just when she had actually convinced her rather carnal body to move, he chose then to turn around and look at her. She stood staring at him dazed. She gulped at the sight. Lord help her but she was so stuck in his attractiveness. Why did he have to look so sinfully good, good enough to actually snack on? This was killing her. But, it wasn't doing a good job like the embarrassment that was dutifully painting her cheeks at being caught practically ogling him.

'It's rude to keep staring at someone who is trying to get into clothes sweet Rose,' he preached to her. She tried to speak, unable to do so, wholly discombobulated. He raised a thick brow at her when she didn't even move or as much as take a breath. 'Mine?' he said with a smirk. He knew just what was wrong with her. He walked up to her despite knowing that, already in the mood to tease her senseless. 'Rose?' he called again, this time afore her, his hands going towards her stunning face.

'What?!' she snapped in alarm, taking two steps back, trying very hard to quickly regain her lost composure.

'Look,' he said to her. 'You can look all you want my sweet Rose. I am all yours, ain't I?' he asked her.

'Stop spouting nonsense,' she told him, flustered and bright in the cheek. 'Who is looking at you? I am only here to ask you why you won't take me with you to wherever you are going,' she said.

'Ah! Is that so?' he asked in a teasing voice that brought about her anger alongside her lost composure.

'Yes it is.'

'Ah, I see,' was his teasing reply that infuriated her. The smirk on his face took it further than that.

'Oh yes it is so!' she snapped at him impatiently. 'It's only a pity that I walked in on you with next to nothing on.'

'Okay, let's say that I believe you and I also totally agree with you,' he said to her with an annoying smile. 'So what is it that you wanted to tell me cause it seemed like you do have something?'

'Why won't you take me with you on this journey you want to embark on? Is it because I am your prisoner and I do not have the right to freedom? Or is it because I might escape while we are outside and it will not be easy to find me like in your castle because it is not your territory?' she asked him all at once and then stopped to catch her breath.

'No Mine. It is not because of any of those reasons that you have just mentioned,' he assured her.

'Then, why? You tell me. I really want to know,' she stated.

'I won't take you with me because I have to protect you. It is because it is not safe to take you out of my territory sweet Rose. I do not want any harm to come to you,' he explained to her, staring at her with tender eyes that made her quite uneasy, carnally. Oh damn her stupid endocrine system which was releasing so much hormone that she could not even handle at one spot talk more of even handle at all.

'Hmm,' was her only reply to his answer though she didn't actually believe his balderdash. She just chose not to speak lest she fall on top of him.

'Is that all you wish to ask me? Is that all there is? There isn't more?' he asked. She nodded with a hmm once more. She couldn't trust herself to talk. She might actually reveal what she was currently feeling to him.

'Go get dressed!' she blurted out when he continued to stand there, staring at her. He raised a brow at her.

'You are the one in my dressing room sweet Rose,' he pointed out. She hated him for always being right.

'You mustn't always give me a reply. Just go and put some clothes on you,' she told him with a frustrated sigh.

'Alright,' he said chuckling as he turned away from her and went to do so. She turned and walked away from his dressing room, fully flurried.

'Oh that beast, he surely deserves a nasty beating. I pray he falls off his horse as he is leaving and hurt his back. That pain is equivalent to the one he keeps making me feel,' she muttered to herself. Though she really wished that such would come to pass, she knew that he was way too agile to fall off his horse based on the ease he always displayed during equitation.

The huge round bed called her and she went to it. She gently fell into the soft bed faceup with her arms spread out. She sighed as she looked at the ceiling, pondering on the answer that he had given her just now. His words played in her head over and over again.

"I won't take you with me because I have to protect you. It is because it is not safe to take you out of my territory sweet Rose. I do not want any harm to come to you."

She wondered why he had said that to her. Now as she lay on the bed thinking, her brain began to function. She suddenly realized that he always gave her this kind of answer as a reason for her not to escape the time she had been bent on leaving his empire by hook or by crook. It had always been related to protecting her or keeping her safe. But why? Why was he trying to protect her? Why does he keep wanting to keep her safe? Just why? Besides, from what was he protecting her? She sat up in bed instantly. She needed to know that and he had better have answers to that. She stood up quickly from the bed and went towards his dressing room without stopping to think it through once again despite what had just befallen her.

Thankfully, she didn't meet him almost bare like the former time. It went to prove that the latter time was always a better choice. She found him already in his white pants as usual. He was only just shirtless. He turned towards the door at her intrusion which seemed unwanted. It was obvious that she was bothering him. Well, she was really fine with it.

'Thought up more questions despite you saying there wasn't more?' he asked her. He really knew her well and she was beginning to wonder if they had a history in her past that she couldn't remember for it would be weird for him to know so much about her, predict her so in the very little time that she had been with him. It was just a transient thought by the way.

'What is it?' she asked.

'What is what Jagi?' he asked her with raised brows that said "be clear with me, I do not understand your half baked question." She snorted. She couldn't help it at all. He was annoying. Anytime he did something and even if he didn't he was still so, and sometimes even more.

'What is it that you are protecting me from beast? What is it that is making you hide me away behind these walls?' she said straightforwardly.

'It is not for you to know that, trust me sweet Rose,' he told her.

'Well I want to know that. Maybe you do know or maybe you don't, but I have no recollection of my life before now and I know not why. But once when you yelled at me, I remembered something.' His expression turned serious instantly.

'What is it that you remember Mine?' he was urging her with immediate effect. She sighed and continued.

'I remembered being stabbed with a sword beast.'

'You remembered that?' he asked her with a strange emotion in his eyes.

'It really happened?' she asked him. 'That really happened?'

'Yes it did. Did you really remember that?' he asked her again and she nodded in answer to his question.

'Yes I do. It was you, wasn't it? You stabbed me, didn't you?' she asked him. He shook his head at her.

'No, I wouldn't. It's all wrong. Your mind is all wrong,' he said. 'I would never do such to you sweet Rose. I lov-' he halted then and turned away from her.

'What ever it was, I don't care. All I want to know is what you are protecting me from and the reason why you are doing so. I also remember running away from you. I also remember you abducting me. I know that you overpowered me at that time because I was a little tipsy from drugged liquor. But I can't really decipher all these memories because I really don't know what is what. The one of you abducting me was a dream and I am not sure if it was real, but it felt too real to actually be my imagination.'

'Why didn't you ever tell me any of these Jagi?' he asked her. 'You could have come to me and asked me about it. I could have given you an explanation.'

'I do not trust you.'

'But I do you,' was his reply that made her speechless for a moment. He trusted her? Of course he did. He had given her his imperial seal. Would he give that to her if he didn't trust her? And now that he was leaving, he hadn't even asked for it to be given back to him.

'Rose,' he called her name softly. She looked up at him, into melanous eyes that were filled with different sorts of emotions that she couldn't filter even if she tried to.

'Yes?'

'When the time is right I shall tell you everything. But for now only listen to me. Everything I do, I do for you. I will never hurt you. Trust that if you do not trust me,' he assured her. She nodded at his words.

'Alright, I will.'

'That is good my sweet,' he said to her with a smile. She smiled at him in return. He patted her head, turned away from her and quickly returned to trying to dress himself. He needed to be ready soon.
