Jay
"I won't cry. I'm stwong. Super stwong." The little boy says to me as I stare at him.
"I'm Jay. What's your name?" As my dad taught me, I walked up to him with my hand held out.
"I'm ——." The little boy's voice crackles as he says his name.
I smile and shake his hand. The little boy hesitantly smiles back.
"Jay! Where are you?" Kista yells from the other room.
"Kista!" I yell back as I poke my head out of the door.
Kista runs into the room with concern written all over his face.
"Jay, you're supposed to stay by my side today. Dad has important guests." Kista scolds me as he takes my hand.
"But I made a friend," I say as I point at the frightened little boy behind me.
Kista stares at the little boy, and his eyes widen.
