What is that? It sounds like a heart rate monitor. Am I in the hospital? That would make sense. I wasn't feeling like myself during the car ride home. I felt nauseous and fidgety. My brain was all foggy. It must have been because of the side effects of the knockout gas. I can't seem to open up my eyes. I can hear things around me, but I can't wake up.
"Hey, Dr. Monroe, I think you should see this." A man's voice I have never heard before says.
I wonder who that is. Who is Dr. Monroe? He must be the doctor treating me.
"What? What could I possibly need to see?" Dr. Monroe seems annoyed.
Not very professional if you ask me.
"He is showing signs of brain activity. Quite a bit, too. This is the most brain activity we have seen in 20 years." The man sounds confused.
