"So, how did it go?" Anon asks Parker and Melony as they walk in.
"Great. Austin hates King Lao. I guess he dips his toe in everything that Park Group does and is sick and tired of the old loyalty bullshit of the previous generations. He's in line to take over, but he refuses to be under King Lao's thumb. It all worked out for us. Plus, I think he has the hots for melony." Parker adds as he moves closer to Anon.
"Well, I suppose that's a good thing. Still, you better be careful. Don't be swept away by his charm. I'm still not sure we can trust him," Anon reminds Melony as he pushes Parker away.
"I know. I did good, right?" Melony sincerely asks her big brother.
Anon smiles and pats Melony on the head.
"Yeah, you did good. Now, just stay out of the way until we need you again." Anon sat back down on the couch next to me, making sure there wasn't any room for Parker to sit next to him.
