"NO! Please, just stop. What could you possibly have to gain? It's dangerous. Don't even think about weaseling your way into this." Anon growls at his little sister.
Melony pouts as she inches closer to Parker.
"If you didn't want me to know what was happening, you should have ensured no one was here before you announced your plans. Just take me along with you, and I won't tell Dad about this." Melony repeats for the third time.
Anon's pleas to his sister are falling on deaf ears. She has no intention of letting this go. When Melony digs her teeth into something, it's like prying open a bear trap.
"How could we have thought someone else would be waiting inside Parker's apartment?!" Anon yells.
Anon twists his head slowly to look at Parker, who is just as confused as the rest of us.
"How did you get in here?" Parker asks, ignoring Anon's death glare.
