Rebecca had never known a more busy time in her life. Between the lessons on reading, writing, arithmetic, nobility, etiquette, AND putting her own touch on her wedding, she was a busy woman. The dress had to be fitted about twice a day (at Fennel's request), and given the amount of pokes and prods that the Witch gave her, Rebecca was becoming less than fond of the woman. Especially since Hermina was no less stringent in teaching her court etiquette and would often work at the same time in the evenings.
"Is all of this really important?" She finally broke and asked, looking down at the dress from the stool she was standing on.
"It's traditional." Hermina retorted. "And don't interrupt."
"But this doesn't seem like what Gerald would like…"
"He needs some lessons in manners too." Hermina quipped, making the Witch chuckle as she continued to sew, pins stuck in her mouth.
Rebecca looked down at the two women. "But… why-"
