Hermina Dor left the meeting with her subordinates, having teleported back early in the evening. The war was coming, and this time there would be no escape for the non-magi in her domain, or the other unwholesome creatures that dwelt there.
She was pleased however. The ghoul families were ready for a fight and what few werebeasts that were in her domain were willing to fight to ensure that their homes were kept safe. The bats in the trees were keeping her up to date as well. The forces were only around three thousand total. Their secondary weapons were forged with silver, and most of them were non-magi.
"Unusual." She said, thinking about that last bit. "For a race of people who believe that magic is everything, they sure are cavalier about sending people to die and wasting silver…" She thought about this for a moment, but there was so much to do that it eventually left her mind until she reported to Gerald the next day.
