Gerald swore and grabbed the book, setting a ward to make it look like it was still there until someone came to grab it. He then grabbed several other tomes off of their shelves and scroll holders. 'Just to throw them off the scent.' He did the same thing down several other rows on his way to the door. The door opened for him, again without a person opening it, and he hurried up the stairs.
He had one final thing to do and there wasn't anything that the Wizards would be able to do about it.
"Sorry. My fault." Lime's thought echoed in his head.
"Too late for sorry now." Gerald responded. "Isadora, get ready to send the food. I've got the books, and am now on my way to the treasury."
"And… and what if you get caught?" Isadora and Fennel replied almost at the same time.
