Gerald went into the wagon with Hermina again, his mind racing and his emotions flowing out of control.
"Hermina…" He whispered before curling into a ball and he closed his eyes, rocking back and forth. The pent up anxiety and hatred was boiling through him and he needed an outlet. The magic called him, but he pushed it down. Taking one's frustrations out with magic was definitely a pleasant feeling, but it was addicting, and one couldn't always throw a fireball or an icicle through a wall…
There was nothing more to do now. Nothing more he could do.
He hated it.
He debated for a while about returning quickly to Portal to work on the paperwork but decided against it in the end. 'It took me ten minutes to even make a decision as simple as that.' He reasoned. So he just continued to sit and rocked backwards and forwards.
It was some time later that he finally heard something.
