Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: Deep Desires

The light inside the basement dazzled Vidhi's inebriated eyes as Anirudh carried her out of the party floor.

She was comfortably rested in Anirudh's arms as he walked out of the hotel, heading towards the valet car parking.

The chauffeur was waiting already and he opened the door for them with an immediate readiness.

Anirudh lowered Vidhi on the ground and guided her inside the backseat of his car.

He was about to close the door as Vidhi hooked her index finger inside Anirudh's shirt, brushing his chest softly, as she pulled him infront of her.

"Won't you come with me?" She pouted her lips at him and asked the question innocently.

"I'll... I was about to enter from the other door... Once, you leave me!" He replied with a mild seriousness.

"No... no... that won't happen!" Vidhi started to nod her head vigorously.

"If I leave you now, you won't come back, I know." Vidhi's lips started to quiver. "Everyone leaves me... I won't let you!"

Anirudh didn't reply. He bent down and touched her soft cheek with his right hand, before gesturing her to scoot aside.

He entered inside the car through the same door and adjusted himself beside Vidhi.

She was all over him!

"Please scoot a little... Let me sit!" Anirudh murmured softly trying to adjust himself uncomfortably in the small space.

"No... I won't... I won't leave you!"

Vidhi wrapped him instantly with her delicate arms and hugged him sideways. She rested her head on his chest as her fingers touched his bare muscles through the gaps between the shirt buttons.

Anirudh didn't object. He simply slide his hands under her knees, picking her up a little, as he made her sit aside.

"I won't leave you..." Vidhi murmured again.

"You won't have to leave me! Infact, I won't let you." Anirudh spoke softly as his fingers traced her jawline lovingly.

Vidhi opened her eyes to look at him, a and suddenly, in a quick moment, she got up and saddled on his lap.

"Hey..." Anirudh hushed. "The driver is here! Behave yourself Miss Sengupta..."

Vidhi shuddered at his words, nudging her senses midway back to reality.

"Behave yourself? And, what about you?"

She asked him forcefully, sitting upright on the car seat.

"What about me?" Anirudh asked softly.

"Why were you with that woman? That Monica Sharma or Verma or whatever!" She muttered the name clumsily.

Anirudh smirked at her words.

"I wasn't with her..."

"Liar! I saw you kissing her, your head was bent and..." Vidhi interjected before letting Anirudh could complete his sentence.

"I wasn't kissing her... I would never do any such things." Anirudh spoke calmly. "Infact, I was telling her not to disturb us again!"

"And? She listened?" Vidhi asked innocently.

Anirudh shrugged at her question.

"Well, then why don't you kiss me instead?" Vidhi's words were getting slurry as she fluttered her eyelashes constantly to keep her vision straight.

"What did you drink Miss Sengupta? I just left you for hardly ten minutes!"

"He gave me a drink... The same one, but it tasted different." Vidhi stuck out her tongue to show him how different it tasted.

"Touch me with yours and you would know how bitter it was!" She murmured innocently with a frown on her face.

"Who gave you the drink?" Anirudh asked again.

"That man... The blue shirt one... CJ? I guess...He told me I look pretty." Vidhi giggled bashfully, hiding her face in his chest once again.

Anirudh's jaw tightened and muscles stiffened at her words.

"What more did he tell you?" He asked calmly.

"Nothing much... That I should call him if I ever need... All regular stuff...And, Oh..."

Vidhi suddenly lifted her head from his chest and looked up.

"He called me Bondita too! Why did he call me that?"

Anirudh exhaled sharply as he pulled Vidhi closer to his chest, making her rest her head comfortably on his chest once again.

"I shouldn't have taken you there... You are not ready yet!" He breathed out the words to himself.

The journey home was smooth and quiet. Vidhi dozed off counting Anirudh's slow rhythmic heartbeat and Anirudh sat still, clutching her head in his arms.

It was around nine forty five when they finally entered the Roy Chowdhury Mansion.

The night was pleasant and pristine and Anirudh couldn't help but gasp at the sleeping face of this young girl... The girl for whom he had waited for a hundred years... The girl for whom he left his humanity and this embraced eternal darkness!

"Miss Sengupta... Wake up... We're home!" He whispered softly trying to wake Vidhi up from her drowsiness.

Vidhi opened her eyes for a second, before closing it again, as she nodded her head in negation, clearly declaring her intention of not getting down.

Anirudh sighed.

He opened the door and got down from the car, as his strong arms scooped Vidhi's sleeping figure into a cradled embrace.

He carried her inside the elevator and then to her room. Vidhi wasn't moving and her eyes were closed, but, Anirudh didn't fail to notice that faint beautiful smile plastered across her sleeping lips.

He slowly lay her down on the soft bed and pecked a soft kiss on her lips.

He felt Vidhi's body quivered a little under his touch.

A mischievous grin played on his face as Anirudh started to play on her face with his fingers. He touched her forehead with his fingers and traced them down running through her nose, lips and then chin. He noticed her muscles stiffened and her hands clutched the bedsheet softly as his fingers travelled further down to her neck.

"I know you aren't sleeping !" Anirudh leaned forward to her ears and hushed the words.

"But, I wish you a good sleep... Goodnight...!"

He got up from the bed and turned to leave and suddenly his hand was seized by hers.

Vidhi had sat up on the bed, wide awake, as she held his hands, pulling him closer.

"Don't leave me tonight! Please..." She titled her head on the right and requested him with a polite eagerness.

"Miss Sengupta... It's too early..."

Vidhi didn't let him complete his sentence.

"Too early? Or too late?"

Anirudh smiled at her words.

"I meant too early for us!"

"But, weren't you searching for me all your life?" She hung her arms on his neck, pulling him yet closer.

"Or, are you thinking what your grandfather would think if he catches you with his potential love!"

She rolled her eyes at him to intimate the subtle sarcasm in her words.

"No... Not that! It's just that you are inebriated... And, I don't want you to do anything that you would regret in the morning." Anirudh remarked.

"I don't believe in living with regrets Barrister... And, that's probably why I came with you here without a second thought." She inched her lips closer to his and spoke again.

"Even if I do remember this moment tomorrow, I promise I won't regret!"

Her hands slowly moved up brushing the back of his soft hair as her warm breath sent a jolt through Anirudh's spine. She quickly moved forward, wrapping one leg around his lap, saddling him, as she stood on the soft bed on her knees.

"Are you sure?" He hushed, trailing his hands on her body, as he lightly touched her waist, supporting her saddled frame on him.

"Let me think..." Vidhi hushed and smiled... " Yes, I am!"

Anirudh inched his lips forward, as he saw Vidhi closing her eyes in anticipation. There was just an inch gap between the two lips. And, Anirudh was acutely aware of all the wild thoughts that were running in her mind haphazardly.

His cold heart started to race, after a long, long time, as he heard her thinking about all her unchained fantasies and unventured passions. He swallowed hard as he realised Vidhi to have successfully bridged that one inch gap between them. Her lips were now on his, lightly pressed together, waiting for him to start his ministrations.

Anirudh sighed sharply as he felt his body reacting to this long lost fantastic feeling. He felt a surge of emotions in his entire body as Vidhi grabbed his hair firmly, pressing herself further into his mouth.

Anirudh couldn't think anymore. He seized to hear her thoughts... Focusing on the only sound that his heart wanted to hear at that moment, the sound of her irregular pounding heartbeat.

He opened his lips a little, giving access to Vidhi as she hungrily started to suck his upper lip. Anirudh clasped her waist tightly with his right hand as his left moved up to cup her right cheek.

He leaned forward a little, taking control of the moment, as Vidhi felt his sensuous tongue invading inside her mouth with equal passion.

"Ahh..."

Vidhi moaned out softly, experiencing the passionate rummage of love inside her mouth. He was taking turns in suckling her lower lip and her tongue, making her helplessly enjoy the sensation.

The soft breeze entered inside the room through the gently fluttering curtains, as Vidhi's heart fluttered violently in need for more.

Without breaking their kiss, she leaned her body backward, and pulled Anirudh along with her, making him fall on her body, as she lay her head down on the bed.

Anirudh was now hovering over her. His chest pressed against her soft breasts and she felt his stiff muscles against her softness. Her hands travelled down south, from the nape of his neck, trailing through his spine, feeling every muscles, as he suddenly resisted her touch.

"No... No... Stop...!" Anirudh broke the kiss abruptly and cupped her face instead.

"Princess... Not tonight... You are drunk and this won't be ethical either."

He pulled himself up from her lying frame and sat upright beside her.

"Whyyy?" Vidhi groaned in disappointed.

"I know all about... Everything actually... I had Biology as an additional paper!"

Anirudh laughed out a little at her words.

"My sweet little Princess, this is a lot more than what you have learnt in your theoretical biology." He smirked at her.

"Two more months... And, I promise you won't have to ask for it!" He kissed her forehead tenderly and prepared to leave.

"Nooo... Please don't leave me! I don't want to be alone... Pleaseee...!" Vidhi urged him earnestly.

"I won't be able to control myself if I stay here any longer tonight... " Anirudh looked intensely at her eyes as a strange burning sensation inflamed his throat.

"Miss Sengupta, look into my eyes..." Anirudh leaning down a little and cupped her face lovingly with his firm hands.

Vidhi looked at his eyes, as a warm heat rose down her spine.

"You will not ask me to stay here tonight... And, you will fall asleep slowly... You understand!"

Anirudh's voice was grave and to her utter surprise, Vidhi noticed his iris changing its color instantly.

She gasped at the sight!

"What did just happen? Did I just see your eyes changing color?"

Vidhi's eyes had widened in disbelief as she removed his hands from her face and sat up slowly.

Anirudh's face contorted in shock and dubiety, as he heard Vidhi's probing tone.

"And, why were you speaking to me like that? Commanding me to fall asleep? What's going on?"

Her voice was quivering with distrust and anticipation.

Anirudh looked perplexed, but in the next moment he clenched his jaws.

"What was the colour of the drink that CJ gave you?" He asked her firmly.

"Pur... Purple!"

Anirudh stood up from the bed immediately... Pacing a few steps back from her.

"That cringe has made you drink Vervain!"

He exclaimed in vexation.

"Miss Sengupta, I can't stay here any longer. I'll have to leave!"

"Ver... Vervain? What's..."

In the darkness of the room, Vidhi saw his face flushed with red, as an expression of sharp pain overpowered his beautiful demeanor.

"What... What happened?"

She asked eagerly trying to get down from the bed, but her advances were discouraged by Anirudh.

"Don't... I'm... I'm not feeling too well..." Anirudh took a sharp staggered breath, as his mind registered all the unanswered questions that hurled in Vidhi's mind.

"I promise... I'll answer... all your questions... But, not now!" He stumbled his words slowly.

He turned around and held the door, staggering out into the dark outside.

Vidhi sat on her bed, disoriented and confused, as her mind raced constantly, permutating all the possible combinations that might lead to a logical explanation, as she heard his faint voice echoing through the dark.

"And, Bondita... Please try... to stay awake tonight... For the dreams... They would drive you insane!"
