Chapter 15 - CHAPTER 15 My Sword

Then I called one of my birds who was on the boat and I asked him what was happening. Did Krakens sink any more ships to get this, as it's only been 15 hours since I left? Now here we go.

And the response I received was another example of my failure to underestimate their capacities. As it turns out, neither the ships nor, in fact, slowed down the Kraken's activities since they were looking for treasures.

So, it was not from the latest ones; these treasures come from a few of the Krakers who liked to collect shiny objects, so many of them had this all near their homes like magpie birds. And for unbelievable food and friendship, they gladly gave it away.

I also underestimated not only their destructive power, but also how long this world has existed and how long it has been since the early humans existed and traveled.

So if the information is correct, then there must be hundreds of times more treasure than there was on earth. Krakens used to exist before humans. Therefore, once the chaos has subsided, it will be nothing; my Krakens will bring me waves on waves of treasure.

Yes, I'm rich with very little investment, Rich. Seeing dollar signs all around me, I thought to myself.

Don't be so sure, Drake; you're going to spend this money like you're trying to clean up the seas and return them to the earth. Sigh…

Then, with a sigh, I flew to my castle, followed by Melisandre, who had recovered from her shock and was looking at me when I was talking to the birds.

Once we landed, I looked at her and saw that she was disturbed by what she saw, but only for a second, as she had seen worse, even though she tried her best to hide some emotions that slipped onto her face. But After a few deep breaths, her look changed, and with a big smile, we walked together once the door automatically opened.

"Welcome home, master, and so do you, madame," said Salvia, greeting us. the lights went on one by one, the steam engine started to operate.

Melisandre begins to search for the source of the voice, but after more than a minute, she doesn't find anything. That. was to be anticipated, because Salvia is currently housed in the castle due to a lack of a better source of energy.

As Melisandre looked at me for some answers, "Well, Melisandre met Salvia; she is, in the simplest terms, a spirit or voice of Castlevania, this place," I said as she nodded, because I couldn't tell her what AI is or what it means; in seven hells she wouldn't understand, so she chose the magical way.

She said hello to Salvia, and Salvia did the same after both greetings were done. I. installed it in one of the empty rooms while I also gave her the things I had stored in my inventory. In the meantime. she walked around the whole time with her eyes wide open, she was shocked to see how the place lit up, how the structure was working, and how beautiful the castle was. On I also responded to a couple of her questions.

Once everything was set and done, I informed her she should rest for a few hours as her body is still in its learning and abject phases. While I headed over to the weaponry, Salvia presented me with the list of things that were in this castle. even though counting was still going on and the armory was still uncounted.

And let me tell you, they are a lot, as Dracula once said that this entire structure is a travelling machine and a place that is itself a weapon, and he wasn't lying. Many more magical weapons than ordinary weapons are forged using a combination of new and old techniques. So they were far superior to any weapon forged here other than Valyrian steel.

Then there were books on both magic and science, the sciences involving biology, medicine, disease, chemistry, physics, the natural sciences, biochemistry, genetics, and philosophy, and magic, which included all kinds of dark and light arts like blood, shadow, mind, astronomy, herbology, the history of magic, potions, and transfiguration.

Elective Alchemy, Arithmancy, Magical Creature Care, Divination, Ancient Runes Witchcraft, Applications, Apocalyptic Magic, Black Shamanism, Blood Magic, Bone Magic, Corruption Magic, Conjuration, and Curse Magic are all options.

Cursed Name, Dark Aura Magic, and Dark Alchemy black chi magic, amongst many others.

Then there are natural subjects such as history, languages, arts, war, architecture, forge, forge, and magic forge runecrafting between them.

As it seems, after enjoying his life for a very long time, he soon realised he was immortal and wouldn't die, so not to just waste his life away, he invested it into discovering the secrets of magic and science.

That's how he put this place together. and become a great scholar.

But as a monster, he knew the nature of humanity, so he built this place like a weapon and a traveling machine.

Some of the most important things include four soul coins and two forging hammers, which are used to create night creatures. It's a very incredible thing that I have a way to build an army of monsters.

There are also mirrors, for example.

The Mirror of Fate may reveal the truth. It is a powerful magic instrument able to reveal someone's past and true destiny. It also seems to possess sentience, which manifests itself in the form of the Lost Soul, a mysterious creature whose purpose is to guide those it encounters and steer them toward their fate. The mirror is shown to be able to carry people to wherever they need to go.

Communication mirror

The communication mirror is used to communicate with others at a distance. Depending on the power of the mirror (or its user), it's also possible to partially physically manifest on the other end by employing elements present in the latter.

Transmission mirror

The transmission mirror can serve as a portal that can transport someone over a vast distance in an instant. A larger transmission mirror can teleport more people at once.

Distance mirror

A distant mirror is capable of viewing things from a distance, providing answers to the user's questions, and locating what the user wishes to find. It can also receive communications from other magic mirrors. Some even allow the matter to pass through them.

Only a few of them are here, and most of them are capable of doing all this.

Then the magical weapons are either created or collected by Dracula himself. These are just the old magical weapons that could be found in any magical fantasy game, anime, or book. like elemental swords, bows that didn't need arrows, spears that are able to extend, shields that reflect damage, armors that ignore all damage, and so on. The standard weapons found in any fantasy game.

As I continued to listen to Salvia's item lists, as I approached the armoury or Treasury, as the gates opened, and holy shi_t in nine hells, what was in front of me was shocking, as who knew he would even collect this?

The Hall, a gallery that contains the highest ceiling in this castle and is in the center of everything, is literally filled with a mountain of treasure. while the huge quantities of gold and luxurious items, such as status symbols, swords, masks, treasure, boxes, gems, diamonds, sculptures, etc., were scattered around the room. and hung on the walls. Neat rows of countless weapons were arrayed on the walls to the left and right, up and down, making it an impressive display.

The types of weapons in the Armory were almost thousands upon thousands, as contained within were broadswords, greatswords, stocks, flambeaux, scimitars, patas, shotels, kukris, claymores, short swords, hammers, war hammers, sword breakers, one-handed axes, two-handed axes, one-handed bludgeons, javelins, bows, crossbows, armors, daggers, etc.

Furthermore, there were almost too many unrealistic weapons that stretched the definition of what it meant to be a weapon.

There were weapons that could not be possibly sheathed or were more decorative than useful, which included the majority. Almost none of the paraphilia was made of anything as ordinary as steel. such as a sword with a blade of blue crystal, a pure-white sword with gold inlays and engravings, a black sword with purple characters along its body, and even a bow that seemed to have been strung with pure light.

Other potentially lethal weapons included a two-handed axe whose blade was constantly dripping fresh blood, a massive mace with tormented faces appearing and disappearing on its black metal, and a golden black dagger with engraved runes.

a lance that resembled human hands clasped together, a sword with a blade that flickered like a flame, or even a sword with a blade that resembled a whip—a black as night whip with silver spikes all over it that wriggled like a centipede. an armor that seems to be on fire. Most of the weapons were magic weapons, but the exact effect of each of them was a mystery.

This place was like a standard guild hall in any MMORPG game, and anyone who played it knows this is how a guild treasury looks. So why is it all here?

This all caught my attention because I had not expected so much to be present, but if I recall correctly, vampires were always referred to as a noble race and were older than humans. and in the stories, they always hold great wealth. And Dracula, being the first avatar of Chaos itself, does give some explanations for all this.

It looked fantastic, but in reality, I knew not to trust all this as it all comes from a medium world, even when we combine both games and anime. So even in the best scenario, I would say that based on the amount of mana, they should be around High Class to Low-Class items.

But I won't be a rich brat and say no to all this. It's a free gift, so I'm very thankful, plus I was here with only one sword, and getting all this is just a bonus, and I do love the bonus. plus all this gold, which I'm not going to use for the show.

So I was grateful and excited, so with great excitement, I walked toward the sword that was on display on the left side of the room. From the blade, it didn't look special, nor did it have anything special about it besides its size, which was nearly 5 feet, 2 inches, even taller than me. It was only 3 cm wide, so it seemed the weapon was just one of the showpieces.

Like many others in this room, I knew better than this, so once I reached it, I removed the glass that was covering it. and looked at the sword. I still felt nothing, but from a single glance, I knew this was the sword Heirloom wielded by Alucard, in both the show and game series. my sword.

I reached out and took it in my hands. There was something inside me that had awakened. Something in my soul started to stir.

Suddenly, the sword began to glow as if it were alive.

I gazed at the blade and smiled as I extended it above my head. Mine and its energy flowed into the sword, and its energy flowed into me.

With a swift movement, *BOOB* I swung it behind my back. It was a tremendous force, a sound akin to thunder that echoed throughout the whole Treasury as it cut through the wind, producing enormous heat. The cut was swift and lightning-fast.

Energy erupted from within it—pitch-black ones with hints of red and black.

It was as if the blade was breathing.

My body started to tremble as I stood there, holding it in both hands, as I was shocked.

I glanced at my sword, I could feel my and its own Blood Energy continuously being used, which is probably the source of this sword's

power…

'Blood...'

I heard the voice in my head. However, this time I knew it was not the sound of my urges. It was the blade's sound. It wanted to continuously bathe in blood. What did I expect from the blade that was made by a vampire of an unmatched kind?

As I stopped supplying my blood energy, the voice increased. "Blood... blood... blood!"

'Blood...'

"Ugh...."

'Blood....'

'Blood.....'

*Chatter!!!- Chatter!!!- Chatter!!-*

I picked the giant black box that had a beautiful scabbard made of silver, sheepskin, and dragon scales.

'Blood.... blood...blood-'

'...blood.... blood... blood... blood... blood..blood... blood... blood... blood...blood.... blood... blood... blood... blood..blood... blood...

I ignored the voices in my head that were asking for blood. I started to analyse the sword and the blade. And I soon realised that the weapon gets more powerful the more it spills blood, drinks it, and is possessed by the sword familiar. one-of-a-kind Sword Familiar.

Dracula placed it here, and he used chaos to power the weapon, so the more blood it spills, the stronger it can grow, and it can level up and gain new abilities. like the games did.

So it was a fantastic weapon, and just like vampires, the sword drank blood to grow stronger. So with enough blood, this sword could even cut reality itself.

Blood.... blood...bloo-'

Instantly, I put the sword in the scabbard. The energies completely diminished, and the voice in my head crying for blood disappeared.

Oh? Interesting. Is this scabbard etched with magic? I touched it lightly, trying to connect my Blood Energy but for some reason, it constantly repelled it.

So next, I let my grip go and commanded it to come out, which it did, and before it started to scream blood, I made a big cut on my palm and let my blood flow on it. And soon, my regenerative healing factor started its work.

I looked at it closely, as I said, the blade measures approximately 4 feet 9 inches, is 3 cm wide at the base, and has a distal taper along its length. The overall sword is approximately 5 feet, 3 inches long, and 20 cm wide.

It's a longsword. Maybe not a typical one, but I've seen a few historical examples of longswords with similarly slender blades; I think they'd fall into the Oakeshott XVIII and XVIIIb categories.

It's something between an estoc, a fraternal ceremonial sword, and a rapier. The XVa Oakeshott sword is similar to the Agincourt sword.

The sword's scabbard looked pretty normal if you ignored the small wound on it, And just before it could take any more of my blood, the cut on my hand was already healed.

as blood and blood began to whisper in my ears once more.

It was sharp as hell, and I'm sure its own sword could cut anything in its way, at least in this world. As cutting fictional metals such as vibranium and adamantium is still way above this sword's league, or even cutting the skin of truly durable people such as any Kryptonian, Viltrumite, and many more,

I did not really know what to make of that. I guess, but that does not mean I won't be able to make this a weapon of unparalleled power and might. It's just meant to be connected to me. And, most likely, my blood energy is insufficient, and I am insufficient. That's why the sword is so weak.

Alternatively, it is incompatible with general magic... or these are runes.

In the books I had read before, I knew runes had the power to seal, compel, and sometimes even release.

The Wall in the North is said to have been strengthened and built as a result of the use of runes to repel the vile magic beyond—the nefarious army of the dead, they call them—and others.

Gulping lightly, I took a fresh look at my new sword. There is a world beyond Westeros, and I have a gut feeling it is not that friendly. And it's not just beyond the wall; it's also beyond the deserts, where no one has ever visited or come from.

Even though all these places are just big exp farms for me and their blood would just make me a stranger, there are still many horrors outside of this world. I'm excited yet somewhat fearful of facing certain death. But this fear wouldn't be able to stop me from reaching out to the top,

Absolute power, I'm going to strive for something beyond the strongest; challenging me would be the most ridiculous thought ever; fighting me would be a sin! That's one of my main goals in my unending life.

And no one will stop me from reaching that place, not even my love for women.

Shaking my head, I glanced in front of me after putting the sword back in its scabbard and hanging it to my back as it was too big for my waist, while it continuously whispered "blood" in my ears.

Once everything settled down, I started to practise my powers with the sword, and after a few hours of training and swinging the blade around, it was a fantastic blade with perfect balance and power. And the blade can be an aspect of all elements. which include time and space. It's just that I'm too weak to use it.

While training, I realised something, I never noticed: I have gotten used to servants doing some of my work, and this place needs some servants if now Salvia, is just a voice.

Yes, she can plan crafts but nothing more than that, so she needs some workers, and I'm sure I can't craft machines or droids that she could control.

Like drones, we have to wait until we can build that technology here, which is nearly impossible as it's not just a frame; we had to build every transistor, every chip, and everything from scratch—more than 100 years of human creations combined. So this had to wait until I figured out how to dimension jump and transport us to the modern world. So until that time, I need some servants here that she can command to do things.
